It’s not really all you need thinking broader about competition. Without the other consoles/pc applying competitive pressure companies take advantage of the consumer. which could leave you with a crappy expensive alternative.

Same here, back in 2013 before there was an ps4/x1 and everything was on ps360 in 700p I built a 4K pc with a new gtx Titan and this game looked amazing back then in 4K. But after I beat it I was like it was good while I played but it did lack depth for back then, now it’s not going to stand a chance.

What you say is true, but pc gamers may pick up the old ps games and not feel a need for the ps hardware, that would be an issue.
I can list at least a dozen exclusives that I need the ps hardware for, and losing a few Detroit, death stranding, the other 2 by quantum dreams, and now horizon it does eat into the reasoning and the question is will enough exclusives shift the balance where one says it’s not worth the hardware for half a dozen games.

This is interesting. I held off on ps4 due to my backlog and wanted to jump to ps5 day 1. Now with me already going to buy quantum dreams games, and the other ps4 exclusives I may have to reconsider day one.
I’ll eventually have to have it for drake, last of us and gow but can I slide that out to the next iteration if ps5.
Has this game got support for that resolution? I’ve seen complaints where that resolution does not always work natively. Not being negative, I’m actually interested in in the tech.
