Glad they're finally letting us use a gun while holding the flag. I hope it stays sidearm-only, though. It would suck (and be highly unrealistic as well) if a guy got the flag and could still use his rocket launcher one-handed.
LOL
Who cares if it's played more? I'll still be playing the sh*t out of Halo 4 and laughing at BO2 every time I walk past it in the store.
Wow, I didn't know framerate and graphics made the better game. I must have been wrong all these years, especially since I can enjoy playing an old N64 game more than most modern games. /sarcasm
It's a fact that CoD has good graphics--I won't deny that--but believing a high framerate and better detail automatically makes a game better than any other is childish at best.
And Halo generic? A military shooter taking on waves and waves of Russians and...
inb4 "blowing" pun
o wait
I knew Halo 4 would be a heavy hitter this year, but daaayummm. Almost half a mil already? Wow. And on top of that, it's 360-exclusive and has more total preorders than most other multi-platforms combined. That's saying something.
Also, inb4 Halo/CoD flame war.
I've been a huge Halo fan for years, but Halo 4 the most anticipated game of all time...? For me, yes (I wish I could go into cryosleep for four months). For others, no. I'm also not a 12 year old fanboy like the person that wrote this article; nothing within the article made me excited (or made any sense, for that matter) and every sentence in that thing had a grammatical error of some form or another.
Basically, don't worry about judging what this article is try...
No doubt. This game gets more and more exciting every day. :O
12 hours? Is it referring to single player Campaign and Spartan Ops together or Campaign independently? If single player is 12 hours long I'm gonna sh*t bricks (figuratively of course, and in a good way).
It's pretty obvious who it is since that certain person's icon is shown at the end of the E3 2012 trailer. But the real reason why these "Prometheans" aren't organic might be what we find out over the course of the campaign, and not one of those required pieces of information that should be known before you play the game.
I need to finish reading Cryptum and Primordium...
I just hope it doesn't become flooded with a load of third-party characters from Namco and the like. A few 3Ps are fine (only about 10% of the total amount of characters), but Sakurai shouldn't feel obligated to fill half of the roster with Namco characters just because they're working on the game with him. It was a Nintendo oriented game from the beginning and should do its best to follow that tradition. Again, a few 3p characters are fine, just don't go overboard with it. <...
I like how they act like the Chief's new enemy is still a huge secret or something.
Not a whole lot of new information, but interesting nonetheless.

Don't quote me on this since I don't remember where I read it, but I think I remember reading an article somewhere that O'Connor said there will be a demo for Halo 4, just not a beta.
I'll re-reply when/if I find said article.
I'm mildly disappointed, but I don't blame them for their decision. It makes sense. I'd hate to experience lag spikes in a match just because someone wants to sit there and watch.
"I have long dreamt of this day, CoD fanboys."

The Halo: Reach sniper rifle looks way better than the Halo 4 version, imo. It looked futuristic yet simple. This one just looks old, cluttered, and too damn big.

DICE may be taking it seriously now.
