I'm interested to see if worldwide sales with dethrone World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, with it's 2.4 million copies sold on the first day.
a piece of Star Ocean 4 news comes up I will be posting this... because everyone seems to forgot this little detail. The original trailer for the game was to only be viewed by individuals who recieved a code from the SO1 remake on the PSP. You would have to buy that game, get a code, enter the code online and you were eligible to view the trailer.
You had to purchase a PSP game, to view this trailer... not clear enough yet?
Do you have a PSP? yes? Do you have ...
I'll still stick with my evidence that supports PS3 exclusive, how-so? If anyone still remembers the first trailer that was released, it was leaked. The public wasn't supposed to see it, the conditions were that if you purchased Star Ocean 1 Remake for PSP, you were given a code that you could enter in online and were able to view it.
Why would you HAVE to buy a game for a PSP to a view this trailer? Wouldn't make sense to have it on any other system unless it was multi-plat....
Had to system restore my computer, it installed fine and all that but when I loaded my computer back up, it said I had no audio installed at all, and my computer resolution would only go to 1024 x 768 (I run at 1680 x 1050) All devices were still installed said my hardware manager but Vista wasn't reading anything, 2x8800GT's unconfigurable, nVidea was nowhere to be found. It was a real mess, I'll hold off on updating for a while.
The only hint that I've been able to determine is that, everyone remember the SO4 Trailer, where how it was supposed to only be seen by people who had purchased SO1 Remake for PSP? Then it leaked out ect and now everyone has seen it.
One thing that sticks out, is that you were SUPPOSED to only see this if you purchased that game, and that game was released on the PSP, if you have a PSP chances are quite high you have a PS3 (well, least I do) Why would you have to buy a PSP produ...
I completely agree that the game is amazing, but near flawless online play? Have they even been online? Public servers are fried, sure you get a perfect game the odd time... but almost every game is completely filled with lag. Friend Code games work fine, though it's a little bit of a hastle, I just think their "Near flawless online play" is completely incorrect.
I was devastated to hear that it was going to the Wii, a game like Monster Hunster that looked so great on the PS2, deserves to be made with the best graphics possible. I had to buy a Wii for this game, but I only they that Monster Hunter 4 or Monster Hunter Online or something like that comes to the PS3.
360 does have a decent lineup I must say, a couple titles I would really want on my PS3 (Tales of Vesperia), which hopefully will come to PS3 as well. Sure a fair amount of titles are gunna on other platforms as well, but this wasn't an exlusive list, nowhere did it say that.
But on a side note, has there been any new information on Star Ocean 4? I do remember Square Enix saying they're going to focus games on PS3 and Wii, of course that doesn't mean it's not coming to 360 (...
Yeah they showed this on Attack of the Show, he did get one, but it was said he was caught peeking at his presents before; which is why the cruel prank went into effect.
Edit** Though after watching it again.. the amount of laughter at him from the family was a little harsh...
I may not own a 360, but I do own a PS3... and yes there's time when flaming goes on, but when you read something like this regardless of what system you have... as a gamer .. it hurts, to think something like that could really happen.. to the lengths the kid went to, it really sucks... I can't imagine how he must've felt after being reassured that his 360 would be fine and then opening it up to see it was all washed off...
Can't really explain much more, he needs to be recompe...
a new IP just because "the game is such a secret that when I mentioned the game to Phil Harrison last week he was unsure at first whether even to admit the title existed."
-With that we technically shouldn't know what the game is, or a rumored game with a sequal not yet officially announced.
I've got a couple friends who have Japanese Wii's and they've imported it from Japan, I gotta say it's amazing, so fun, but really it's just Melee over again with better textures and polys, not much else. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's bad, I think it's really good but... not as good as some people are hoping it to be.
P.S - Final Smash is overrated and boring
but Blizzard already owns a ton of other urls, I believe they include Warcraft4 and Starcraft3 already.
"this year's engine will be shown for the first time running on multiple hardware platforms such as the PS3 and Xbox 360"
I dunno, I may just be too picky that when I read "SUCH AS" it's a guess, they aren't officially stating that it is on both.
Could be for 360 only, or PS3 only, or again im too picky and it's both.
That being said I wanna see how this beast of an engine is gunna be handled by these systems.
Wait a second.... that list has a couple games that are completely unconfirmed for the 360...
-Haze
-Tales of Vesperia (yes, yes we all saw that guys blog, but still no confirmation from Bandai Namco themselves, they even follow it up with (only on xbox))
And pretty much the rest will be on the PC, that's the one major difference I see in the PS3 and the 360. Most games for 360... Bioshock, Gears and more are all available for the PC.
Good ...
Yeah I was gunna OC it but then decided not to.. guess I should've
Not too sure how the 8800GT is gunna work out, I'm currently running two of them in SLI mode, with 8GB of ram and a 2.4Ghz Quad Processor and I still can't seem to push out high, if im lucky it runs fine in high with not anti-aliasing.. but that's also not in dense areas.
Edit ** Very High isn't even worth trying with the specs I have... kinda makes me sad.
I'm gunna try and do a small sum up of what this system is adding, I'll be generous to the price even with these smaller numbers the price is gunna skyrocket.

"It seems you’re only worthy enough to see the video if you are both a registered SE member and have a serial number from the Star Ocean 1 remake on PSP."
If you were technically required to purchase the remake of Star Ocean 1 on PSP... means you would have to own a Sony product to view this video. That being said there is still no concrete evidence of what system it's for but... that being said seems like it should be going to PS3 one way or another.
I really wanna know too, looks awesome!
