I expected MW2 to get GOTY from Gametrailers... but Best PS3 game? That's just insulting.
I've been looking forward to this game for a long time now. I believe the first trailer came out at E3'07. I think the color palette changed a bit. It still looks really good though. First day purchase for me... assuming I can afford it after all the holiday expenses lol.
So far from Gametrailers, Uncharted 2 has:

Best Single Player
Best Third-Person Shooter
Best Graphics
I think it has a pretty good shot at GOTY from Gametrailers, looking at MW 2 it has:
Best FPS
Best Multiplayer
I might be missing one but that's all I remember.

Yeah, that usually doesn't happen, how the overall Game of the Year doesn't win Best of Year for any specific platform. Usually it tends to fall that way...
Your opinion states that Batman: Arkham Asylum is better than Uncharted 2; fair enough, no complaints. Now you're opinion is that other people's opinion's are wrong? Just like Alpha-Male22 said, you're taking a route that your opinion is "more correct." I think all we're trying to say is, something like I THINK THEY'RE WRONG because I liked Batman more, is far better than THEY'RE WRONG because I like Batman more. Get it?
An opinion is an opinion that's fine, if you believe all those games are greater than Uncharted 2, that's cool. But you can't say 3031 people are wrong... that's just idiotic, VOTING is A PERSONAL OPINION... god some people...
I'm not a big fan of NIS America...it looks interesting, fans should be happy though.

Maybe not? The details in Drake's face are unparalleled imo. Drake's also moving in this screenshot while the Spartans are not, I dunno. I think it looks better, maybe I'm wrong. I'm not here to say anything bad about Halo Reach, I think it looks amazing. That screenshots of the Spartans inside is pretty jaw-dropping, but I don't think the Warthog + Exterior shot looks all that amazing.
I wouldn't mind if you can toss some details at me as to why it looks better? Sharper texture...
Really? I think Splinter Cell: Conviction looks better. Don't get me wrong the character models are damn top notch, but the environment (though we haven't seen much at all) was pretty lacking. I would most likely place Uncharted 2 over this as well.
But that's the thing though, Halo doesn't have to boast great graphics to be good, it's always been good. So when great graphics get added into the mix, then damn, you've got a nice game for sure.
I was expecting it to be a bit closer than that to Killzone 2, don't get me wrong it looks great. I guess I was hoping for too much, definitely noticed the better lighting and textures, a nice upgrade for sure.
Seeing as how this will be the last major content patch before Cataclysm it makes sense to extend the length of it. However Blizzard did say 28 days is only for the first gate, the others will be shorter.
You don't seriously believe Gears of War 1+2 compete with Uncharted 2 do you? Don't get me wrong they're great looking games, but they can't be compared to Uncharted 2.
Ah, yeah I'm pretty excited to see what the X-Engine will have to offer. I'm hoping it's as good as they say, chances are it won't but if it can surpass Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2, then damn nice.
It's possible that Microsoft may enter the next-gen before PS3 tops the 360's total sales and the PS3 could still have 2-3 years more life left in it. With that who is the victor? Microsoft because they were ahead prior to the next-gen? PS3 because an extra 3 years would easily move them into second. Or one extra year for PS3 because of the year headstart on 360?

Even if it comes somewhat close, it'll be great. Halo 3 wasn't all that amazing in the graphics department, but it boasted great online play. So great online play, with largely upgraded graphics and physics should do wonders.
I'm hoping it will match Killzone 2, Halo with Killzone 2 graphics would be awesome.
They've released 5 rounds in the time from September - December, so we'll have to wait a while for all 12 I guess. Oh well, very cool to watch.
