Wouldn't this be the same MMO they've been working on for a long time now...
They have in the works:
Diablo 3
Starcraft 2
Unnanounced MMO (Not based on any of the 3 franchises)
And Another Unnanounced Game.
This article has to be about one of the two unnanounced, I really don't think there's ANOTHER that's in developement for now.
Day One Purchase.
Never played Disgaea 3, I have 1 + 2. Never even played 2. Maybe I'll look into this one. Not sure if I'll buy it but if it's available to rent the next time I'm out, I'll think about it.
I think it's really ambitious and I like the idea, but yeah... looking at my game collection I like having an actual physical copy. Without any knowledge of how this system works, pricing, ect. We won't know what'll happen to this service.
Haha yeah, awesome game. Too bad I don't have it, I'll have to keep an eye out for it when I'm out game shopping next time.
LOL @ removing fences once people are in the park.
I was amazed by this interview. It's really good. If everything they're planning for really is possible and easily accessible we could be seeing this technology in our future for sure.
I'd like to see it in action before I can believe everything he's stated but wow.. I'm shocked.
That's incredible. I don't really know what else to say that hasn't been said yet.
My major concern would be it actually running at 60fps. With this setup people would want to hook their computers up to their TV, so many things I can think of right now.
On a personal note I really hope it doesn't end home consoles that would be sad. I'd go bust out my genesis and snes to make me feel comfortable. lol. Even if it did, for this service to be perfected would take a...
That would be nice, I'm assuming if I imported it the demo is completely in Japanese. I'll wait and see what happens, if it does happen to come with the demo I don't mind waiting another month.
Well it's $279.99 (Canada) so I'm going to use that as my price guideline.
I don't know how much profit Nintendo makes off each Wii. I don't know how much the cost is to manufacture the systems features. That being said I cannot really debate as to should they lower the price.
In a producers shoes, look at the sales figures. Is there a need to drop the price? No. Would we like one, do people feel it should be cheaper? Yes.
Until Nintendo's sales s...
Anyone who has played Diablo 1 or 2 will love this game. I think this style of setup is great. It's an MMO but it's online. Sure there may be upgrades for more fluid game transitions and maybe more than 8 people in a game. What MMO do you know of that you can beat a Boss with 2 people or 8 people an it's challenging both times?
Diablo 3 = Awesome
(Went to Blizzcon)
Graphics are the entire visuality of the game, if the graphics are horrid and animations are bad; it's takes away from the quality of the game. You cannot ever sacrifice gameplay mechanics for graphics. You can't have a pretty game that has terrible gameplay, you CAN have a game great gameplay and poor graphics yet... if there was extra polishing it would be even better. (All depending on the Art Direction)
Graphics are like the icing on a cake, it's really nice when it's the...
Uncharted was more popular because that game was very good. Hopefully Uncharted: Among Thieves will sell better now that it's an established franchise.
@ Resistance100
Oh I'm not saying it's a dissapointment at all, for a completely new IP that's good. I just hope that it becomes a really successful franchise. Sorry I may not have explained myself properly.
Another game? I knew of the next-gen MMO for a long time but another game, that's just awesome.
lol
Yeah, I can see some of that being possible, stuff I would be doubtful about was like the interactive newspaper. Though I do think we'll see this technology I just don't think it will be that advanced. I would think it would be a more primitive state still. Least for a good amount of those concepts.
Now give me my beta damn it!
Damn it, now I've gotta start saving again. My guess would be SC2 release date along with the other two Diablo 3 classes.
I really don't see them announcing the new MMO but who knows.
He's not leaving Blizzard, he's going to be working on Blizzards unannounced MMO. He's still working their, just on a different game.
"Yup Microsoft Are Opening Microsoft Retail Stores"
I cringed...
The only difference is that Microsoft is approaching the developers and offering money specifically. Sony's isn't approaching anyone they're offering developers money if they so chose to develop for them.
A less aggressive strategy from Sony but when it comes down to money and exclusivity it's pretty much the same deal.
