Kind of surprising that the release is relatively soon and no preview has gotten to mess around with the Ice powers. Perhaps they think the powers are best left as a surprise.
Kind of surprising that it's that much shorter, has less lines of dialogue, and yet more cinematics which to me makes it sound like the story/game will be more action based than the first game.
I'm pretty excited to play Yakuza 4, the demo was disappointing but I know combat is not what the series is really about.
Actually wasn't interested in this at all until I saw a story trailer that made it seem pretty interesting and not just tossing these guys together haphazardly.
While I very much dislike the act of pirating video games it's true that they get used as the scapegoat for profitability by companies too often.
Some of my favorite characters from MvC2 got cut. Poor BB Hood and Servbot. If they come out as DLC I might just have to get it.
Maybe Gust will come back to the series for an offshoot at some point, I'd hate to think that this is really the last Ar Tonelico I'll get to play. They aren't the greatest games, but they're definitely some of the weirdest/most unique.
Well at least he's acknowledging that analysts have said "year of the PS3" before. Wonder how he defines that since he seems to talk only about game quality and not about sales.
I was kinda hoping LBP2 would have a bigger opening than that, but hopefully it'll follow the sales pattern of the first game and leg it out.
Was actually thinking of a slightly lower score before I finally got the online working. I hadn't intended to buy it but I might have to after getting hooked back into the online.

I'm really kind of excited to check out Alice in Wonderland since I missed the first. That story always seemed like it could be real creepy pretty easily by just toning down the color scheme a bit.
I'm personally curious to see what you think of partying when you continue on in the game as that is always a huge part of MMO's. Wonder if there'll be any classes that get shunned like my poor Dragoon in FFXI.
Nice to see Persona 3 Portable and Valkyria Chronicles 2 getting some well deserved awards.
Rock band idea sounds interesting if you were playing for a crowd but otherwise it seems like it would just be irritating.
as mentioned in the review, it's free if you get it randomly from Sony or you subscribe to Playstation Plus but it certainly isn't free to everyone.
What I've read tells me that it'll be 6 bucks when it releases for absolutely everyone and that's who the review is for.

My assumption was always that MM was glad people didn't freak out, but you can still be disappointed without freaking out. What PS3 fan that really wanted to play LBP2 wasn't atleast a bit sad when it got delayed? If you really love the series I'd have a hard time believing you don't have any feelings of disappointment.
it's nice to see numbers showing that an overwhelming number of the new songs in Rock Band 3 support the keyboard but they really need to patch it into all the old songs for it not to feel limiting when I play with my friends. We skipped out on the keyboard last night just because having only 60 something songs to choose from feels too repetitive.
Sonic has been on a semi streak lately between this and Episode 4. Ways to go to make up for the last few years thoughy.
Seems somewhat weird that someone that works in the military would go home and play a a game about their job. Kind of like a City planner going home and playing Sim City. I guess it's a good sign that you love what you do though.
