Microsoft did NOT have a great first party this year. Not a all. I don't think anyone doubts that Sony had the best exclusives this year. KZ2, Infamous and U2 take the cake. No you're wrong. Unreal Engine 3 is at its limits. They shouldn't even make another Gears until UE4 is finished. That engine is very limiting and it's what is now hurting the franchise. The 360 has a lot of power but it's all dependent on the engine. MT Frameworks 2.0, Dead Space engine and whatever Remedy is using for Alan Wake are good examples of this. Oh yeah, DICE's engine will smash your soul when you see it running in full force.

Being a fan of Blu-Ray, the PS3 has more value to me. What if, however, you don't care about Blu-Ray or Wifi? At that point it could be the 360, Wii or PS3 that has more value to the consumer.

I'm only going by the screenshots. Usually low textures and less objects on the screen are the result of the developer freeing up memory. I don't like comparisons but I also don't believe the LOT doctored the PS3 version. I also said don't let screenshots disuade you from buying the game.
