People like Tekken because it's easy and they hate VF because it takes real skill to be dominant in that game. I've seen some experts play Tekken though. Still, the learning curve to greatest in VF is very high compared to other fighters. Most of the people who own Playstations probably don't even know what the first 3D fighting game was.
Such blind devotion to plastic and silicone amuses me. Why would you stop gaming because a game goes multi-platform? You'd only be taking the fun away from yourself and no one else. If you truly like to game, Tekken 6 on the 360 wouldn't affect you. In fact, you'd be happy that all your friends who own 360's get to enjoy the same games you play on your PS3. God damn WTF is wrong with people?
Your comment made no sense. You're saying that if a game goes multiplat...a game that you like even, you will not buy that game? You my friend are the biggest tool I've ever seen in the history of internet comments.
"i hate microsoft and xbox and thats pretty much it. "
I guess you don't like gaming either.
Are you blind? All the data is in the release. Just because I posted it first, doesn't mean it's false.
There would still be Sony published exclusives. In fact, if you look at all the exclusives avail for PS3 now, they are all Sony published.
Bubble for you Xhi4. Thanks for being open minded.
This would be great news for all Tekken fans, 360 and PS3 alike.
Yep, 1.7 games for every PS3 and 3.6 games for every 360 sold in Japan. That's another article right there.
...but it went on to double sales expectations. It was not a failure.
GT5 Looks amazing...simply amazing. The GT games always played horribly though IMHO. I hope they fix it. Until then it's Forza 2 for me.
Bubble for you my friend. I couldn't have said it better.
I've never seen such bafoonery on the internet before as I just read in Secret's post. You are the king of the PS3 fanboys. Such ignorance shall be rewarded. I hearby award you with the Pulitzer Prize for Fanboyism.
Anyone who thinks that dev's are scaling graphics back on the PS3 so that the games look like the 360 counterparts should not be gaming or allowed on the internet. Long before the graphics APPEAR on any console, the modeling is done on high end workstations. Th...
Microsoft should just dump the HD-DVD's with the game and charge $69 with the bundle. They've got to be thinking about this. I think maybe the launch of the HD-DVD was a plant for getting the units in homes to prepare for larger games.
This title would be great on PS3, just like it will be great on 360. MGS4 would be great on the 360, just as it will be great on the PS3. I don't think anyone here qualifies to state whether or not a game has to be downgraded to be ported successfully.
Let's leave that up to the developers and hope the publishers allow mass replication of their great games so that ALL of us can enjoy them.
The bickering over what system is best needs to end. If we are all game...
When you can count all 1080 progressive lines with your eyes come talk to me.
I stand slightly corrected, but not by you. 480p is technically not High Definition, but Enhanced Definition. And anything above PAL which is 576 lines, is considered High Definition. Therefore, Halo 3 is still a High Definition game at 640p.
If all of you fools out there think that 640p isn't HD actually played Halo 3 on an HDTV, you wouldn't be talking all this mess about it. The game is beautiful and neither my human eyes or yours can tell whether it's 640p upconverted...
It's a shame some of these really good posts are plagued with fat jokes making the poster look stupid. I don't think his weight has anything to do with his opinion or skill as a developer.
On a side note, High Definition starts at 480p for all you morons citing the whole 640p Halo 3 thing. High Definition is not defined as high resolution, but as a set of standards for high quality images. 480p is considered HD and so is 640p, 720p and 1080i/p. Get your facts straight befor...
The 360 has 3 USB ports. 2 in the front and 1 in the back. Guitar Hero III is now wireless.
If you want BC, get a 60gb PS3. Otherwise, keep your PS2.
When devs use Blu-Ray, they don't compress the data. There's no need to. Stating that LA Noire is too big for the 360 means that they didn't waste their time compressing any of the data and/or they only want it on one disc. As it stands, the 360 still doesn't need Blu-Ray for gaming.
GT5 looks better, Forza 2 plays better.
I've always hated playing GT. I tried...I tried hard to like it but it fails in gameplay. Graphically it's the best looking racer ever. Forza 2 and Ferrari 355 are the best sims.
