@reztard - Bioware originally pushed the release date back on the PS3 version to tweak it more. If the PS3 has more power, then devs should be utilizing it. This has nothing to do with Karma it's all about what the devs can do with the hardware. People fail to realize that PS3 tech is a year newer than the 360 and most games SHOULD shine a little more on the PS3. However, again this depends on the devs and the engine.
@Montrealien - Best post of the week! Bubbles!
I'd pay $100 if they dropped the retail price on Xbox 360 games from $60 to $50. It would pay for itself twice in 6 months for me. Especially with Gamegeddon going on right now.
The real winner this holiday is the gamers. If you disagree, please state why?
@Darknikon - "The graphics will be better because it won't be a multiplat. The 360 won't be holding this game back! They will be building this one from the ground up just for the PS3. Sorry to burst your bubble"
Wasn't Tekken 6 built from the ground up on the PS3? 360 version looks and plays the same. Your logic is flawed.
360 had plenty of offerings this year:
Halo Wars
Resident Evil 5
Red Faction
Gay Tony
Halo ODST
Forza 3
Borderlands
Shadow Complex
etc...
What have you been smoking?
It's because you don't take every game for face value like you should.
Oh yeah Warzonegamer from Warzonegamer podcast. I wonder where he got that name from?
I say we wait and see how it performs on PSN before we decide which one is better.
Playstation 3 version hands down!
Xbox 360 version hands down!
"Considering that their only real competition during this time has been the PS3, a more expensive console with a sub-par online service, it’s no shock the Xbox has garnered a huge following."
How is PS3 online service sub-par? I've never had any problems with it except that it takes long to download a demo.
That whole comment is there to prepare people for the lower sales ration on PS3 I'm sure. Spin Doctor!
@finbars75 - Portal, a game where you must think the entire time, says hi.
Fanboy goggles on:
Xbox 360 gamers are older and more mature because they have jobs and can afford more games. They can also stay up late and play. PS3 gamers are teens and have homework to do and depend on their parents to buy their games.
Fanboy goggles off:
See what I did there? Waiting for the hate...
But not too busy to post.
If you don't want to support Activision/IW, then you wouldn't buy it used either.
@reviewsarepolitics - "It won't reach the technical advancement of KZ2, that's for sure. Sales don't make the quality of the games. "
We aren't talking technical advancements, we are talking sales.
"Back to UC2"
Bold statement there.
@mr logic - "A lot of PS3 owners bought their console to play MGS4 or Uncharted 2 games that have no counterparts on the 360."
Aren't MGS4 and Uncharted shooters? Wait, isn't KZ2 a shooter? What about Resistance 1 and 2? I think the 360 library is just as diverse as the PS3's. A lot of PS3 owners don't even know of some of the great non-shooter games on the 360. Tenchu Z, Portal, Banjo, Kameo and Dead Rising are all non-shooter titles that are pretty much first gen ...
I, like many others, was mislead. The whole point of the title was to get traffic. I admit it, I jumped the gun.
This guy is stealing traffic from Eurogamer. Reported!
Halo 3, Alan Wake and Splinter Cell Conviction says 'Hi!'
*smh*
