the reason why M$ doesn't charge for online passes is because they're too ashamed to ask for another $15 per used game on top of $60 per year they ask for XBL Gold, just so you can play the game online.
Call of Duty will have some genuine competition next generation. I'm interested in all of them, Battlefield 4, Destiny, new Respawn title.
can't wait.
Square Enix have been doing well as a publisher, give props where they are due.
good score :)
it goes both ways though. PC gamers also spew delusional garbage, you just have to look in these comments, "what exclusives? Killzone which looks like something from 2008?"
for me, the fact that there even is an argument between the two sides is enough proof that Sony has really come up with a special piece of hardware, if they can sell it for under $500. like, a lot of people will debate on who is the better between Kobe, LeBron and MJ. we all know MJ was the great...
the changes will be extremely minimal, think the E3 2011 Wii U Pad vs. the launch Wii U pad. maybe a few lines here and there, the shape of the share/option buttons, very small changes.
can't wait til we start seeing PS4 games on that list!
wonder which will be most pre-ordered?
I'm sure all the ladies que up at your door to see your dual 680s sli in action.
there was definitely an argument for that when comparing PS3 to 360, but this early in the generation I don't think it will count. maybe later on in the generation.
Square poured a lot of money into FNC so Versus will probably still remain a PS3 exclusive.
and in any case this new Final Fantasy (most probably called Final Fantasy XV) will be using the full Luminous engine, not just a piece of it for the lighting a-la in Versus XIII.
you can count on many EA titles, like
Dragon Age III
Mass Effect 4
FIFA14 (inevitable)
Madden14 (inevitable)
Need for Speed (inevitable)
then you have the CD Projekt Red titles, Cyberpunk 2077 & The Witcher 3
Dark Souls II (pretty much confirmed)
Star Wars 1313
Grand Theft Auto V (hopefully, likely)
can't think of more but those are all probable from what we've heard...
I'd like to commend everyone on not feeding this troll.
well done, you all deserve a pat on the back.
"noob coders"
:D
no no they're talking about the shell of the console.
I know it almost does sound like he's talking about the hardware specs :p
irony PopRocks
whenever the doom Nintendo articles are in full swing you're nowhere to be seen, but the moment a really positive one pops up well lo and behold, you're all over it.
the problem with Wii U is that it seems to divide opinion, some devs praise it others don't.
once Activision-Blizzard sees the wealth that console gaming brings to them first hand, only the inevitable will happen from that point on.
imagine StarCraft popping up on a console. just wow.
maybe many PC pirates will stand and stop pirating software and make a case to the developers to keep their beloved titles exclusive to their platform. highly unlikely but you never know.
@Sophisticrat is a man with a life, commenting on a video games website.
cool.
one thing I definitely see this generation is PC traditional PC games making their way to consoles, a-la Diablo III.
D3 is just the start me thinks.
all signs point towards $450, it makes the most sense.
Sony Online Entertainment
-so a PS4 MMO confirmed, maybe Planetside 2?
also noticed 4A Games. what are they doing? Metro: Last Light Enhanced Version or an all new game?
these are people all WORKING ON PS4 games RIGHT NOW, as in they're being made (and a lot of them most probably being made for 720 as well, fewer for Wii U)
so what I'm basically saying is that all those people ARE making games for PS4. whether you like it or not.
speaking of Shadow of the Colossus, if every PS4 dev is working on a PS4 game, what is Team Ico working on?
The Last Guardian PS4?
new IP?
