I'm really really sorry but 2D crowds/fans in a next-gen are totally unacceptable! wow!
rather no crowds at all than having to take us waaaay back to the days of Colin McRae Rally 2.0!
absolutely pathetic.
can we also talk about how Driveatars are basically the same thing we were all using on Tekken: Dark Resurrection yet Turn 10 has praised as though it's the next best thing since sliced bread? a freaking PSP game!
@mystogan
wait til you see how poor Forza 6 is, compared to GT7 on PS4 then we'll see who's fooling who like seriously instead of being a delusional fanboy how about going to the Turn 10 forums and taking these people to task for this in...
who said anything was better?
they use the word "stronger" in the headline AND they clearly say that what is "better" is totally up to you.
your eyes saw what they wanted to see.
LOL!
I personally NEVER take reviews/opinions from gaming journalists at established gaming sites seriously.
game journalists imho should be there to cover news, ask tough questions etc. and that's it. they've proved themselves to lack credibility so they've effectively stripped themselves of the right to offer opinion.
the problem is that even when they do journalistically (is that a word?) report on news (facts!) they tend to do so with bias, and li...
@kewlkat
there really is no better, it depends on the application, motor used for turning fan etc.
bigger fans sweep more air, but require more power to be driven at higher speeds, smaller fans sweep less area of air away but require less power to be driven at higher speeds.
in the end both are probably best for their respective application but I'd trust Sony more as they have a better track record. I remember my friend's environmenta...
these next 12-18 months is as good as it gets for Xbox One, we all know what happens after year 2 on a Xbox platform.
so yes, enjoy your better launch line-up, as it will probably be one of the few instances where the console is supported "well" during the X1's lifecycle.
Belking can see sound waves.
I'm also wondering... the embargo lifts on Thursday, how did this site manage to get a review out?
3News, prepare your lawyers.
"Adam Sissi"
soooo immature, yet soooo funny :D
probably true as well lol jk jk
one score will not drag down the metascore.
so basically, from what I'm seeing in all the reviews if you're into multimedia functionality and gaming is just one of the hobbies you allocate some of your time towards, this is the console for you.
I think there should be two Xbox One reviews, one for the US and one for the rest of the world because many of the Xbox One features will never see the light of day in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia & Oceania.
@theBawse
lol! I just woke up and then opened N4G and then BAM! MorePowerOfGreen is calling someone else a fanboy great stuff :)
@skyrocket
that's a very nice way of putting it.
+1
there are a few Xbox fanboys on this site who try to act nonpartisan but every now and again they show their true colours...
it's funny when it happens :D
why emphasise that your music is pirated?
I sincerely hope Sony put some of their best guys on this project, this has the potential to be the platformer of all platformers.
I wonder if they'll keep it "2.5D"
PS4 launch was a tad weak but man, PS4 2014 is going to be the gaming year ever. my most anticipated games are Rime & Final Fantasy XV but there's sooooo much more on the horizon!
did you do that on purpose? there's no way that someone can fail that badly by accident LOL
70 is not a great score if you're going to use Meatscore!
Metacritic did number crunching and saw that anything below 75 is "okay to good" but very far from great, and is branded with a yellow label.
let's not all of a sudden pretend like 50 is an average, when all generation long 6.0 - 7.0 has been considered average, in the best interests of your favoured console.
@dragonknight
the point I'm trying to make is that the author of the article says that whichever of the two line-ups is "best" is a matter of opinion.
I do take your suggestion on board though, stronger almost equals better however the author seems to see it differently and that's the point I'm making.
