name one game where there's an option to choose between first & third person and the first person experience is just as good as the third-person experience (or vice-versa)?
it's probably very difficult to implement both while not comprising the quality of one. it's almost impossible to get the same experience 1st or 3rd person in a shooter.
this is starting to seem like it is the case, a few different sources claiming PS4 has the better CPU while I haven't seen anyone claim Xbox One victory.
you have to sit and applaud the Sony engineers, pretty much built the perfect console.
well if you tried them and still thought there was nothing special about them when the controllers are clear improvements over their previous models (well in DS4's case at least) then that's a shame..
there's absolutely no way that anyone who has played on DS3 doesn't see any real marked difference in DS4, IT'S CLEARLY BETTER no questions asked. it's almost through fanboyism that anyone would simply dismiss the improvements made by Sony.

the discussion involves the overall design of the controllers, ergonomics. maybe you should try both controllers before you come barging in with questions like that mmmkay?

let's all not forget that Sony could've easily pulled a Microsoft and took some (and by some I mean 2 or 3 in Microsoft's case) exclusives from PS3 and put them on PS4.
360 has been more barren than the Sahara desert over the past few years while the PS3 has enjoyed its most fruitful years over the same time period, all this while planning a next generation console and supporting Vita.

so Microsoft, Tier 2 countries? when are they getting Xbox Ones? not even a hint of a launch window for them, let alone a launch date but it doesn't matter anyway as PS4 is pretty much the only way to go outside of the US.
we're only a month into a new generation, you can't read anything from launch numbers. even if Microsoft had their old policies they would still have sold a lot of consoles during the launch window.
just go and ask Nintendo, Wii U sold like hotcakes on launch, look at it now.
the GPU in the $499 one definitely blows the Xbox One interms of raw power more than 100% more powerful and less than 50% more powerful than PS4 but of course consoles can be coded to the metal
this is great value. it's a good thing Sony can convince people to buy their console on first & second party support alone, because otherwise this Steam Machine is a good offer.
you can upgrade a Steam Machine by yourself, that's the whole point.
basically an upgradeable console. you can buy your own Steam Machine, throw the existing GPU and get your own GPU the very day you get it, at least that's what they have been saying.
people need to get away from calling Steam Machine a console, it's an almost equal blend of PC & console but more PC than console.
it was a disaster? I played it on PS3 and thought the overall presentation was good. that solid 60fps worked wonders for the game.
who cares anyway, it was a boring game.
that's the one thing that keeps me going. they definitely put the pressure on themselves by making it a main series title but Versus XIII was Square's marquee project anyway, they knew how much hype it had and still struggled to get it out.
