i think many people play the campaign, but they just don't finish it. i'd feel super guilty if i jumped straight into the MP after just buying the game.

no but I think Activision need to seriously consider selling the multiplayer version of the game separately by itself, maybe as a PSN/XBL download. maybe with Spec Ops included at a cost of $25$-$35. that means that I have some money left over for map packs.
my trophy count for MW2 stands at 1% come now Activision make it happen...

i will agree that the 360 is, you could say, the lesser hardcore console of the two. Microsoft have positioned themselves in such a way. and you could argue that Battlefiled 3 isn't played as much by the more casual gamers than CoD.
however sophistication has nothing to do with anything. i'm enjoying BF3 but i still go back to Black Ops a lot. i own a PS3.
there was no lag on Crysis 2 MP. that game's MP runs soo smoothly.
many many people saying that the dude in the huge house on the balcony looks like Tommy from Vice City. then there's also CJ when he runs from the cops. but really the one guy looks A LOT like Tommy.

i don't understand the hype surrounding Skyrim. nobody has even touched the game and people treat it as the second coming of Christ. we all played U3 MP earlier in the year and we all enjoyed it. we've seen the reviews and we know it will be great. Skyrim on the other hand. all I know is that there will be dragons in the game...
still deciding on which game to get. Skyrim, Uncharted, or Dark Souls..
well on PS3, looking at pre-orders in America, Uncharted 3 is the 3rd most pre-ordered game next to Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3. so yea Uncharted should sell well next to those games

I'm new to Battlefield and I'm really loving the support from DICE and how they talk to the community. I thought Treyarch did a decent job with Black Ops (nerfing the FAMAS and other regular patches) and Crytek, although they took their time, they still tried to support Crysis 2, but DICE... on another level...
I liked the campaign most when you played as the Marines. it's like you're playing a documentary. a day in the life of a soldier in the middle of the War in Afganistan. i really liked it.
in CoD they make you feel like some kinda superhero with guns. like John Rambo or Steven Seagal

I know BF3 is great but have you seen the CG cutscenes in FFXIII in full-HD? especially the "Welcome to Gran Pulse" cutscene? it will take many, many, many years before high-end PC's, let alone consoles, render such content real time. best piece of animation my eyes have ever seen BY FAR

I think in an opposite way. I will get tons of disagrees but honestly I don't understand why a person would trouble themselves and religiously upgrade their PC just to play a select few games with more stability and better graphics. I definitely do see the difference in performance between console and PC, and I would like to have that, but not at the costs (financial, time, comfort).
