dude I think I have every right as a consumer to complain about the input lag, since I paid €69.99 for my copy of the game like everybody else did.
now I fully admit that I'm not the best player, I mean BF3 is my first Battlefield and it is quite a lot different to the other FPS's that I've played, but I knew what I was getting into after I played the beta. I had so much fun during the beta, even with all the problems it had.

tbh I honestly believe that either your fanboyism is blinding you from the problem or you've just gotten used to it. fact is it's their for everyone to see and it's quite frankly horrible. I tried everything, tried remapping controls, tried turning the sensitivity waaaaay up, tried getting used to it. but I just cant.
only reason I bought this game was because the beta was so much fun. such a pity this was the result.

everyone should calm down. this wont happen. it's way too complicated for it to work. it would need for all publishers, devs along with Microsoft to all agree on this and honestly I don't think all parties involved would agree to this system. there wouldn't be a point if some used games worked and others didn't. a system like this needs unified solidarity.

FPSs are definitely not in decline. two FPS's will be the biggest selling games of 2012, being Halo 4 and Treyarch's new CoD. Bioshock Infinite is that game which looks like a very solid GOTY nominee. us Sony people are getting Dust 514 in the summer. if they release late 2012/early 2013, that means big profits for them with Tomb Raider and Final Fantasy XIV PS3 releasing around that time.
funny story? on one of my birthday's as a kid, a friend of mine gave me his Vigilante 8: 2nd Offence as a gift. he missed it so much that he offered to trade it for his version of Twisted Metal. I refused.
game also had a great soundtrack. I still play "Stargazers" to this very day :)

I agree with soundslike. Firestorm & Kharg Island on console at least suck donkey balls. waaay to big for 24 players.
by far the best maps for console (12 vs. 12) IMO are both Noshahr Canals and Seine Crossing.

the problem with OP weapons is that people realize they're OP and then abuse them. so basically every other weapon in the game is useless. @snipes101 summed it up very well.
yea I stopped fooling myself and realized that I'm not enjoying the game with the input lag problem. so I will not play it until it is fixed. nobody will miss me yea but still.
and apparently, they patched the flashlights. it still feels like having the power of Helios attached to your weapon.

this is not news. the announcement of Halo 4 for Holiday 2012 pretty much confirmed that now new XBOX would come. yes they didn't announce which platform but it could only be 360 because you can't announce a game for a new console before the console itself is announced.
I fully expect a worldwide XBOX720 release for Holiday 2013.
then I think Japan (and maybe NA) will see a PS4 launch in late 2013 and then the rest of us in early 2014.
I agree with this guy Sony will probably end up showing something last. but not as late as they did with the PS3.
I like how Sony seems so chill about the PS4. I honestly do believe that they are taking their time with it. I mean I'm pretty sure research is definitely going on for next-gen consoles but, not at a frantic pace. they seem satisfied at how the PS3 is going now, so they don't want to ruin the momentum.
