yup agreed. 1 main Tekken game this entire generation? i know that they're working on many other Tekken titles sure but a Tekken 7 would be nice.

XIII's combat system i thought was delightful. much MUCH better than the combat in the other RPG that was released this month to glowing reviews, and ultimately put me off the game. i do agree with Wintersun616 that it would've been nice to control more characters at a time, especially in boss battles (Saboteur and Synergist roles especially), but it would be very difficult to do so with the sheer pacing of battles.

i usually go in a match and play objective. i'm almost always top 3 in a lobby because i'm securing and defending those objectives. even worse is that i don't play in a squad. i one man it every night. so my K/D isn't the best.
it's also true that the longer you play, the harder it is to keep that K/D ratio up.

Square Enix confirmed a Final Fantasy XIV beta for late 2012, then an early 2013 release date. the only current gen game that will be using Luminous is Versus XIII, and that's only for the lighting in the game.
Last Guardian is coming next year for PS3. don't know why you'd even think otherwise.

i definitely would've bought MW3 day 1 if they were to make a version of the game that's multiplayer only. it would obviously be cheaper ($30-$40) but you never know. it's Actvision.

i was going to buy Skyrim, but i couldn't for some stupid reason that could've easily been avoided by Bethesda. but my friend bought it and i watched him play it for 2 hours. at that point i saw enough not to want it anymore. what killed it for me was the combat. i basically needed something to last me til Reckoning and FFXII-2. oh well. guess Dark Souls and getting the FFXII platinum will have to do.

knifing should not take two swipes. in Crysis 2 you have to hit the dude twice to kill him and, in that moment in time, the game turns into Tekken. it corrupts the flow of the game a lot. even in Battlefield 3. that knifing animation is too long. might as well pop some popcorn and watch while you take an enemies dog tag. Black Ops and CoD4 had superb knifing.

still trying to get that FFXIII platinum before this game comes out. would be much easier if the side quests weren't so boring...
but otherwise so far those trophies look easy. depends on what "significant" actually means. also looks like towns will be frequent in the game with that shopping trophy
