In another thread a n4g member said that the launch edition guarantees the console on launch day if you choose 2day shipping. The standard edition are the second wave of shipments so you might still get on launch or you could have to possibly wait 2-7 days to recieve.

I have to agree with you somewhat. I do like the new new graphics but I'd much rather have something along the lines of WW running on the dolphin emulator.
The one problem I have with the new lighting engine is my WW tattoo will not look like the new game as much lol, but really that doesn't matter because I love the GameCube version and that's what my tattoo represents and I'm sure ill love the WiiU version but it'll be a replay.

I didn't take note while preordering so I had to check my email confirmation. I guess I lucked out, I was able to secure a "Launch Edition".
Well I remember when my wife gave birth to my first child there were complications and I ended up staying at the hospital for 5 days straight. I guess I would have been shit out of luck considering I couldn't use the hospitals Internet to pass the time occasionally playing games.
So there are times when you might not have access to Internet and might want to game. Just saying.
This gameplay reminds me of the action sequences from advent children. And to all the people upset with the exclusion of turn base gameplay I got a feeling square is planning on making more games for XV with more traditional controls.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing but I totally needed to here it from someone else lol. I think the DLC is a bit overpriced so I think when it's eventually on sale on the psn ill definitely pick some of the DLC that interests me.

I'm interested to see what parents think about giving their 10 year olds a console with a web browser and a mandatory Internet connection. I personally would never let my kid have something like that and I can image this will also hurt Xbox sales.
@chcolatesnw I have a ps3 in my livingroom and my bedroom, and I also have a vita. The way I see it now that I can take my vita anywhere in my house and play ps4 games Sony just saved me 400 dollars. Also it's hard to play games in the bedroom when my wife's asleep so being able to play in bed with some earphones on will definitely be a convenience for me.
Oh and lastly I'm also a dad and its tough always waiting till nighttime to get to play mature games, now wit...
