The 360 is not killing the Wii because the Wii has better and more innovative games. (Sorry for the bad news) I am not attacking you...just your argument. The reason why the 360 is not surging foward is because of THIER BRAND IMAGE AND QUALITY.
All MS has is Gears and Halo..I'm sure you know this. Also, for the record, in 2008, the Ps3 was OUTSELLING the 360...which is shy they got scared and dropped the price. Why would you do this if you got Gears2 coming up? I'll tell you.....

Ps2 started slow in the 1st year and a half. Eventually, it took down Dreamcast, (I really loved the DC) 1st XBOX, and the gamecube. The ps2 competed against multiple systems...and the better machine was chosen.
The Ps3 will compete against the Wii (Both this one and the Wii 2) and Xbox 360 (and their new one...when it drops). This system has not been broken in yet, while it's competition is about done. Everyone who cried about the price will find a way to get the dough when K2...
The only reason to own a 360 over a ps3 is to have ANOTHER Halo re-hash. Yea, I'm just having some fun with the MS heads, but there is some truth in the joking. Seriously, people are only buying a 360 because of the price...and I don't have any problems with that.

If there is nothing to comment about...why do it? Nothing wrong with stating your opinion...just stand by it! It's obvious that they were hatin...because Gears has glitches..EVEN in it's completed state.
Don't sweat it, 1up is in MS back pocket. I mean, I can see if the 1st xbox was great..and having that success carried over to the 360, but it hasn't. All the Halos and Gears look and play the same. I know R2 is not the greatest AAA title to come out, but there is a HUGE difference in R1 and R2.
The same is to be said for K2 as well. Man, I played the beta...IT'S KILLING ANY OTHER SHOOTER (BESIDES CRYSIS...which is only coming out on the ps3) FROM ANY CONSOLE SYSTEM. 1UP knows...

They need the hype. Ps3 has not been doing that great...and from the footage I saw, they need people to see what the ps3 can do. yea, should not show all the goods, but enough coverage could spur some hype 4 sales!
Gears and Halo footage was all over the web and magazines....and how did that work out? Holding LBP, R2, and MGS4 until the last minute, with NO real in-game footage (Also, poor advertisement) didn't work out all to well.

I watched the 1up crew talk about how great gears2 was for them....and Gears2 was really good. Killzone 2 looks and from what I PLAYED..it's ripping both Halo2,3 and Gears1,2...easily!
This is not fanboy talk, people act like K2 was something slopped together, and not a game that took YEARS to develop on a machine that is 2nd only to a elite gaming PC. These guys (And girl) are fighting to pick out anyth...
I had to "Eat Crow" about the so-called year of the Ps3. I will go on record in saying that the Ps3 has dominated 360 in the 2008 exclusive department. However, with the exception of MGS4 (A better online mode would have really helped the system sell more), Ps3 has not dropped that big time AAA title.
Bottom line, there is no over-shield or sniper rifle in LBP; no kurd stomp or chainshaw in MGS4; no warthogs in R2, and no Pac-Man CE (Very underrated game!) or geometr...
I say again, I prefer ps3 over 360. However, I am tired of the excesses! Not only does Sony has whey more gaming experience than MS, but they also have tons of game material to work with.
