There's a reason why the PlayStation is so successful. It doesn't take the most popular genre and bombard gamers with it. Instead, it gives us:

PixelJunk franchise
Heavy Rain
WipeOut HD
PAIN
Fat Princess
and a lot more (especially on PSN) along with that popular genre. It broadens the audience, which is very smart.
Although it wouldn't have made it unstoppable this generation. They still have problems other than hardware. When they work out the kinks (whenever that may be), THEN I can see MS having a success story like Nintendo or Sony.

If there is a multiplatform game, I don't expect just PS3 and 360. If a game is exclusive, I expect a game to be on one platform. That's why I don't call The Agency an exclusive. That's why I don't consider Halo 2 an exclusive. It's black and white. Either it's on one or more than one.

2. Did you miss the topic at hand? You're talking about total to-date sales (for some reason). Everyone else is talking about 2010 sales. In 2010, the PS3 has been outselling the 360 everywhere but the US and even then, they're behind by about 10,000. Worldwide for 2010? 360 is struggling.
