That was fast.
If perfection were numbered in years, don't you think some older civilizations like Rome, Egypt and most of the Middle East would have been much more evolved than the US?
After all, they were civilized well before this country was even thought of as existing.
Truth is, perfection doesn't have a final ending point. Improvements can always be made. If that weren't true, PD coulda stopped with the first GT on PS1.
@DasBunker:
Face it, dude. You got caught generalizing just then. lol
@quantum
you're forgetting what else the PS2 gave us. San Andreas.
I will agree, though. PS1 brought the birth of many heroes we still adore and admire even today.
It's been less than a full day since GT5 was even released around the world... give it time.
Yahoo is not owned by Microsoft....
MS offered to acquire Yahoo, but they refused and turned down the offer. It was all over the news when it happened..
http://techcrunch.com/2008/...
With that said, Yahoo doesn't know much about games at all, which is probably why they don't realize that both Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet are each 4 mi...
I hope this wasn't an attempt to bash, because:
1. Dips in roads like that with a car as fast as a Zonda will definitely result in a "flying car".
2. It's actually happened before... and in real life, nonetheless.
500,000 is not a low number, ESPECIALLY for a game that just got released. They probably thought they had more time to raise the cap, but it turns out they underestimated the traffic.
What's more interesting is your math...
Move does double in Japan on Day One, but Kinect is a bigger hit there? hehe, back to school for you.
(A lot) More than 500,000 people tried the online portion of GT5 on day one? Okay....
1. I can see some pretty good day-one sales out of this one
2. I didn't expect that many using the server that quickly
I still don't have my copy, but I will once I FINALLY get my work-study paycheck.
No. What's embarrassing is the fact that the Go is widely considered a failure (for obvious reasons) by many including analysts, fanboys (even PS fanboys) and... well... it's not doing the worst right now.
Not to say it'll last forever. It's just odd (for lack of a better word) that it's even happening at all. If anything, THAT should be a sign for Microsoft to do something.
Wow, stuna. Talk about taking things to the extreme. I didn't realize that comparing two things to each other was "butthurting".
I'm pretty sure Sony said they sold 1mil in the US and 1.5mil in the UK within the first month....
yeah... they did.
http://www.bloomberg.com/ne...
Neither is the Worldwide lead...
Below whose expectations?
Sony considers the PlayStation Eye to be a "successor to the EyeToy". I'm guessing EyeToy successor would be "Eye 2".... no?
Yeah, that... kinda happens when something new comes out....
Another 5mil in the year for the PS2! Killing it, old man!
Don't tell me what to do.
