You do know that these devs are targeting the low end pc gamers right?
they are going to lose a lot of potential sales if they make ssds on pc mandatory. they don't want that.
You'd be surprise how many pc elitist wanna be are out there those who only have a gtx 1050 ti and a very slow mechanical hdd, and a 60hz 720p monitor etc. and call themselves pc masterrace, those are the baseline pc gamers devs are targetting.
MS is paying bigger money for some of these developers for exclusivity of a sequel to a critically acclaimed multiplatform game that everyone is expecting to have a sequel and can't wait to play it but now they'll be forced to buy xbox to play the sequel.

The point is I already own those games on ps4. I've owned some of those games even before gamepass existed.
If xbox will make all new games available on gamepass day one(not just ms exclusives) on gamepass next gen. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a series x instead of ps5.

If devs are going to push native 4k I believe what we will see is just ps4, xbox one level graphics @ 4k on next gen consoles.
Yup it's amazing how the devs are able to make these games look so beautiful on 7 year old hardware. That's why I bought my pc so that I can play these graphically impressive games at a higher frame rate, I will even crank the graphics settings down to match console quality graphics to increase framerate.
That's unexpected where are those "millions" of epic haters I see on this site who says they are going to buy the game on steam.
Can't wait to play the game that won the best graphics @ 60 fps or I hope I can run it @ 100+ fps.
But for now I'm enjoying that game @ 30fps.

Everyone one who will own a ps5 will have an SSD, devs could design games around that fact.

These pc gamers who are active in the internet seems to think that they are the majority of PC GAMING. Ignoring the fact that there are "MILLIONS" out there who don't even know that "Everyone hates epic".
It is possible that games right now are selling better on epic store than any other store. the only ones who whines about epic are the elitist, millions of casual gamers just click and click, they do not care what store they buy these games.

As someone who played Hellblade, The moment MS acquired ninja theory the first thing that popped in to my mind was "oh shit I don't have an xbox I guess I have to buy one to play HELLBLADE II".

Nice, if you own an xbox I suggest that you never ever buy games just subscribe to gamepass at this point you can assume that all games will come to gamepass even if you have to wait for a very long time. you can just play old games.
