The sad thing is gamefreak does not care, everybody is going to buy the games anyway, minimal dev cost maximum profit, there is no incentive for them to waste money on high quality.

Just because you can't max it out @ 4k doesn't mean the performance is poor.
The devs can easily limit the graphics settings to the point where an rtx 2080ti can play it @ max settings 4k 60 fps.

I played the video on my 4k tv and I definitely see the difference, and the difference is just as expected difference in "RESOLUTION".
