Yup. Good deal. I'd wait for the inevitable price drop come Holiday 2014, but it's a great system/multimedia player with a huge cheap games library.
This is why I don't buy movie tie-in games. They're a big waste of money for a movie that I probably won't even remember in 2 years.
*sigh*
Just got word from Creamsugar on GAF about Vita sales in NA.
"Oh, and vita is officially dead. Very close to 4 digits."
Curse you Americans! Why do you have no taste? Damn.
You'd think the one who's selling more is winning the war...
Sony is just making it look so easy at this point.
I can imagine the party at Sony HQ...

Shut it down! Let's go hooooooooooome!
This train just can't be stopped!!!
For anyone before they start complaining:
Just log in before the maintenance starts and you'll be able to play for the maintenance time.
If you're talking about streaming to your bedroom TV, then as of now, remote play using the Vita is the only option.
There are options coming though. The Vita TV may come over to the West, but it doesn't even have remote play in Japan, and who knows when it'll get that and come out here. The other method is the coming Playstation Now streaming service straight to a TV, but again, don't expect that until 2015.
One more time. Meanwhile, at Sony...

Lol, Axios trying to spew his #truthfacts on the web like he did any research.
Rhap is actually correct, why else would Sony maintain radio silence like that? It's a huge contrast to their Open-Door policy they have with indies right now.
Yeah, I'm a little disappointed they missed out and I have to game on a PC, but it was a case of "wrong place, wrong time." I"m sure they're working hard on bringing TF2 to PS consoles.
I'd buy it regardless.
Sony is just making it look easy at this point.
Probably waiting for the NPD numbers, which come out tomorrow.
Eh, a little disappointed in Sony, but they probably did so to prevent any leaks about specs from going out about the PS4 which was still in development at the time.
Hopefully they learn from this and work with Respawn to get Titanfall 2 on PlayStation platforms.
Also, 106,230,193 controllers were smashed,
17,493,812 consoles were thrown across the room,
and 194,589,406,293,187 tears were shed.
No reason to have stocks in a company if you're not getting anything out of it (FF exclusivity, etc.)
This looks great. Those Vita Slims can't come soon enough.

You don't even know what you're talking about.
Do you even know why they're doing this? As far as we know, Square Enix is struggling as a company, and Sony may be selling their shares because of their current volatility in the market. Risk is the last thing Sony needs right now. They need a steady source of profit in the wake of a large restructuring effort. Who knows how Square will fare in the long run, those shares may be worth nothing in a few years.
...
This is it guys.
Possibly Sony Bend's new Syphon Filter?

On the other hand, Entwined sounds like a Media Molecule game. I loved Tearaway, so I can't wait to see what they'll come up with next.
