While its true I wouldn't be pleased if hd-dvd lost ,its just one of the risks a person has to take to get the new tech now...not in several years. Choice,isn't it nice.
you only say this because you clearly dont have an HDTV yet,If you did you would see how pitiful dvds look in 480p. I can barly bring myself to even look at a dvd.Ocne you have the proper tv then I can asure you,you will want hd dvd.

As I write this ,I've been playing trough doom again on my old 32X and have worked my way up to level 15.This new is welcome,for me I continue to play game decades after their release if the are great ,and this tilte was great.This will be added to my hudge list of xla titles.

there are multipul reasons for me.
1-the system is fairly new and im in need of a new game at least ever month
2-its the last thing that Marlin Brando did
3- gta doesnt come out for a year
4-im nearly done with saints row and in need of a fix
5- most importantly,I think it looks cool and am fine with the look of the game
