Its not the hype that mad it suck,it was the game play. If you never heard of it and played it for the first time today,would that make it a good game?
Releasing a demo for a dieing system seems silly if its not also released for the consoles. With barely 3 or 4 must play games on the PC per year,i'm barely ever on my pc for gaming.I dont even plan on trying this demo on the pc. seems like an odd choice.Maybe because it will sell shtloads on the console vs the pc there is no need for the demo. Strange none the less.

Just the idea that they WAS going to do this,took this game right off my list.That and the palned ingame advertisments means there is no way i buy this one,or any battlefield game from now on.Its just how I do things.Not like there isnt a sh8load of games to choose from now-a-days.

Its true that when speaking of players,yes hd dvd is cheaper.But the real cost comes from buying the disks.And there are far more budget titles on blu ray. And with that damn duel format (hd dvd/dvd) some times hd dvd's cost more. For instance, 300 on hd dvd was 27.99 but only 23.99 on blu due the the extra format on the same disk. just something to add to the confusion:)
Seems to me,if you're a MOVIE fan, the format doesn't matter.Both formats have great movies,so as a movie fan I have no choice but to own both,and I do. But as a true movie fan i can tell you guys that a lot of the blu ray studios are using crappy transfer procedures,and some of the movies dont look all that great,so right now I have many more hd dvd's.Although there are some great looking titles on BR,some dont even use lossless audio.Just my point of view from a multi format owner. I've bought nearly 70 games at launch price in the short life span of the 360,(only 3 ps3 games,soon to grow I hope)When the casual gamer buys 3 in that same time, I'll be worried....not a moment sooner.
