There's never been anything shown to suggest this game had any killer story or ideas to make it different and special. The scores it's getting are consistent with a game that has no real reason to exist.
There's been nothing shown since the beginning to suggest a great story or reason for the game to exist tbh.
So it seems pretty clear this is a bang average game. Which is what I've been saying since it first appeared a couple of years ago.
It's never been clear what it is or why anybody should want to play it.
It used to be fun just parkouring around killing everyone theatrically. With the latest games they've turned it into a total grind. You can't move without getting involved in a hardcore fight. It's no longer fun.

I've played every game in the series to completion but Origins was tedious and I think I'm going to sell on Oddssey without even finishing it.

I love the DS4. I moved from Xb360 to PS4 and was a bit concerned about the controller change. But after the couple of hours getting used to the layout, I've grown to think it's a virtuality perfect controller.
No need for a DS5, just give me PS5 and PSVR2.
The world way was incredibly detailed.
But the gameplay was incredibly dull and slow.
At least to the point I reached which was still early on, admittedly.
I can actually appreciate the idea of slowing down the gameplay and making every aspect of life play out to put you in character more but I couldn't get past the monotony of very slowly walking around camp, having baths where each limb is slowly cleaned individually, getting skins by slowly cutting them from...

I loved TLOU - favourite game ever - but the MP was pay to win.
Idk.This game left me cold from the beginning.
There are one or two things in this article that I do actually like the sound of a bit so perhaps I'll wait for reviews but I think up until now the whole media around this game has been less than underwhelming.

Had no interest in this since first reveal.
I'm not going to attempt to savage it - it's incredibly beautiful, the world is incredibly detailed and there's brilliance in there.
But for me although I did enjoy the chair of pace to a slower game, it actually became tedious at times.
I'm selling my copy on hopefully to somebody who will play it more than I.
