Nice little sidetrack from all the serious MW2 crap. Facebooking it right now!

When it finally releases we'll all be playing the 30th WoW expansion.

Fingers crossed for Blizzard to change their mind...

True. I'd rather see this than read about MW2.

As of this posting there are 10 articles about MW2/Activision on the first page of N4G. And it's pretty much been the same recycled crap everyone's been reading about.

But has anyone actually PLAYED this game? I see ads for it everywhere.

did this article get to 760 degrees with 24 comments?!?!

Oh yeah, tits. Freaking BS here, there are more important things going on than this.

It actually takes teamwork to win in this game.

MW: Deathmatch all day every day.

Oh no! I'm going to get banned!! :O

Seriously. The mods here need to block this ip address. Not hard to do..

But since I'm here first I might as well defend Valve.

"Valve think their own stuff is the only stuff that matters, to the point where they have their own distribution platform,”

Does he not know what Steam is? They are selling OTHER people's games too. They're even selling their competitors' games. In fact, There are more non Valve games being bought on Steam than games that Valve developed. Yeah yeah click the disagree button but anyone who has ever looked th...

Ignorant people....
What Fantasy said is right. It's not just about the game anymore. It's about the gamers. I'm surprised the Xbox and PS3 community isn't up in arms either. They're paying more for less as well. Not as bad as PC gamers though, but consoles get their fair share of ludicrous changes in the game.

It's nice to see some people still believing in mods and freedom.

Wait a minutes, that's ALL of the PC community. Except IW of course.

Haven't played a good HL2 mod in ages. Must give this one a try. My favorite was the Toronto Conflict mod.

If I start, I'd just get angry. You won't like PC gamers when they're angry.

My purchases from Steam in the last 2 weeks:

2 copies of Torchlight, 1 for gifting
3 Copies of Shattered Horizon, 2 for gifting
1 copy of L4D2, I'm thinking of getting another for my friend so we can co-op but as you can probably tell, I'm running low on money
1 copy of Dragon Age Origins Deluxe Digital Edition (this one was a big bank buster :( but WELL worth it)

"and since competition makes for better games it seems like Infinity Ward has now met it’s match."

More like met it's maker. Battlefield defined modern warfare back in what, 2005? It took IW 2 years to figure that out. Don't get me wrong, I love CoD4 but MW2 seems like a step backwards in the franchise.

It was IW/Activision's choice to use Steam to run their game. Or maybe I'm wrong and Valve wants this, but I see no reason why. Steam already makes bucketloads of money from other publishers and indie devs. They don't have a reason to want MW2 to run through Steam.

And just because console gamers don't have mice doesn't mean they can't have good aim. That's a very poor excuse to have THAT much auto aim. Just look at all the MLG pro's. Do they have auto aim? No. Maybe some, but those ones are the noobs.

I think the auto aim is targeted for the casual, which makes IW's game more about catering to the masses than delivering what people expect from a franchise like this.

GUN was open world. You could travel to other cities whenever you liked, and there were side quests in the wild. The gameplay was very good, and I especially liked the quickdraw mechanic.

I never really played Red Dead on Xbox or Call of Juarez, but Red Dead Redemption looks to be an amazing game. Rockstar's pedigree for games is nothing short of AAA quality.

I love Tekken. I rememeber Tekken 2 on the Playstation and I would always be Eddy because his cool breakdance like moves, or King because he's a f*cking human with a Jaguar head (badass btw). But button massing in Tekken is horrible... Don't get me wrong, I love Tekken but I could get beaten by kids.. and I knew Eddy's movelist inside and out.

DOA and Street Fighter, on the other hand, are about timing, precision, and execution. One mistake when trying to counter could be the en...

This game will sell. It's because everyone and their dog knows the name "Call of Duty." They're not buying it because they want to, they're buying it because everyone else is. And if everyone else is buying it, hey, why shouldn't you?

I'm just glad people can see past the BS that IW is pulling. I have better games to play. My Steam rating is a perfect 10 with 65.3 hours in the past 2 weeks. That's with Torchlight and Shattered Horizon making up 2/3 of the total. Yeah I ...

I didn't know this was the PS3 version. If it looks this good, just imagine what it would look like on PC with 16xCSAA and max settings at max res. DAAAAAMMMNNNNNN.
