I lol'd so hard at the "FCK SONY!" guy.
lol Seriously, wtf do you need 4GB DDR5 for??
@ Wrathman
"master the wheel and master the game"
Exactly. I have always used a racing wheel. There's just so much more immersion and precision when you use a wheel. The thumbstick just isn't enough.
Girl gamer? Cool. Now go play some games and stop b!tching about being female.
@ ABizzel1
I loved NG2 more than any Ninja Gaiden before. It had more everything than it's predecessors (minus better camera, but that the crappy camera was part of the fun).
And DOA4 was one of the most competitive fighters this gen. No other fighting game had as robust online as DOA4 at the time. It was a success.
MW2: Realism fail.
That 1UP Mario trick is so full of win though. I used it all the time.
lol I thought that report was fake??
But Itagaki-san is known to be a 360 lover. I love DOA4 but I also miss DOA2 Hardcore. That was when he and Team Ninja truly shone.
Wow I hope that guy doesn't drive like that IRL..
Very nice detail with the shadows dancing across the dashboard. I hope PD has an option to completely turn off the HUD for full imersion. That was one of my favorite parts of GRID. You just rely on the vibrations of the wheel, the in-game dashboard meters, and skill.
I noticed there is no collision damage yet. At 2:03 or around there the guy rammed into a tire wall and nothing happened.
I wonder what system Blizzard will use for stats now since there are none... Hopefully it's just new item drops that will use the new system though and not your current weapon/item stats.
10 million WoW players disagree.
Well not like PC gamers will be missing much anyways. With the crappy DRM that Ubisoft put on it PC gamers will surely turn up their noses on this.
Poor textures in my opinion. Just look at the tree and the tiles on the ground in the first screen. Horrible.
My 6 year old nephew was playing the demo on Steam. He finished it in an hour. That tells you something..
@ Above
Same here. I bought this game with multiplayer in mind. I played the first BC2 on 360 and the story didn't really draw me in. But it looks like DICE is back on track with the great multiplayer they're known for.
Maybe after a while I'll go play the campaign, but the first 50 hours with BC2 will be spent in multiplayer bliss.
@ Panda
Foreal man, with whatever perks you can get for +sprint in MW2 it could take you less than 15 seconds to get to the other side of the map.
For all the time I've had with the BC2 beta, not once have I been everywhere on the map in a single match.
Dear IW, this is how you treat your fans.
10 maps + more for free!! Now that's some lovin'.
[EDIT] @ Alpha
Yeah I'm sure they're just rubbing it in IW's face right about now. But that's good seeing as how IW totally screwed gamers. DICE has always been good to PC though, they gave us BF1942 and BF2.
I'm not expecting everything to be free, but DICE is showing that they actually care. If the customers are happy then DICE gets more revenue. ...
Seeing as how Japan shuns Xbox, I don't know why they would have a Japanese release. Seems pretty pointless to me. Remedy will just be disappointed by the numbers they get from Japan.
Dang dchalfont you got it bad! I'm getting 3MB/s and unlimited per month. And this is in a third world country.
My 360 is certainly collecting dust. My PC, not so much.
DICE has always pampered PC gamers.
[EDIT] I especially like the weapon loadout screen before you start the match. You can pick and choose what you want with a few easy clicks. Just can't wait to get a DX11 card.. hopefully not too many driver issues with Fermi chips as that is what I'm planning on getting as soon as it releases.
Uncharted draws it's roots from Lara Croft. It's going to be interesting to see how the new game turns out seeing as how UC2 set the bar for the action-adventure-jungle-explor ing-baddie-shooting-ruin-discov ering genre. lol That's a mouthful.
I was very impressed with how Crystal Dynamics reinvigorated the Lara Croft franchise and thoroughly enjoyed TR: Underworld. The story was top-notch and the graphics and presentation were very good. Gameplay was ok and could have been bette...
