Microsoft has the rights to A game, not a sequel of the game. Chances are, most games use the same engine in their sequels, looking at Gears of War 2.

Mass Effect was affected by long load times, and some serious FPS issues.

Um.. Ready at Dawn was suppose to only handle the PSP version of God of War and they nailed it. Otherwise God of War 3 would be a Sony IP with Sante Monica making the actual game, the studio Jaffe left.
