@ lilbroRx- Sega's million seller on Wii has being Mario & Sonic Olympics, why? because it has Mario in it, so of course the Nintendo fans/Fanboys will buy it in a heart beat, but the same cannot be said about The Conduit, Madworld, but Sega has being doing great on PS3 with Yakuza, PS360 in regards to multiplats like Vanquish, Sonic is what pretty much does great on Nintendo consoles, but everything else is pretty much out of the picture because of Nintendo's main demographic.
The Sony dude said there is be a big PSV game to be announced, so he was probably be talking about this game, or could be something else. It does look like the PSV could run this game, & I wouldn't be surprised if it does. & I'm sure the PS3 could run this game in a heartbeat. I could be wrong, but I'm not skeptical. & the style of play seems very much like an JRPG, but hunting as well, meaning it's a game that fits to a PSP/PSV demographic, time will tell.
Fair enough, but the main reason it sells is because it has Mario in it, what if it was simply called Sonic Olympics, the game is mostly seen for the most part as a Mario game. & Also, they might be making 7 games on Wii U, but who knows what games are those, it could be ports, it could be a multiplat which goes along with PS360, M&SO can't speak for all multiplats that do not sell on Nintendo systems.

Gamecube didn't have DVD & very limited online functionality, it only had like 4 games to be playable online(mostly PSOs), so yes, tech had something do with it, & in the regards of DVD & broadband functionality, Gamecube was also lower tech.

I have to agree with Maniac on this one, the GC controller was very comfortable for the most part, but it wasn't a controller you wouldn't benefit much from unless you play only Nintendo games.
To me it was as if Nintendo were trying too hard to be totally different from the competition, I think that controller benefited Nintendo games mostly. Pretty much everything about that controller, especially the face buttons placement & shape, didn't feel right to me, ...

Judging by the good reviews & sales Rayman Origins got on the Vita, it is very likely it will get Legends as well, & the Vita version outsold the 3DS version even with 3DS's huge instal base. I think Vita version of Origins is the best version out there, & I only played the PS3 version.
Very few games excited me this entire generation, but not to the point of getting me hyped, the likes of King Of Fighters 13, Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow, Vanquish, Yakuza games, Demon Souls, & Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker were the ones that really hyped me. Pretty much it.
