Duh, because it was a remake to the 2004's GBA game, the PS2 game released in 2008, 4 years later, at a time where everyone was going next gen with PS3 & 360, also the same year GTA4 & MGS4 released, btw, the PS2 game isn't very far from the GBA game in total sales, so don't make it seem like it sold horribly. BTW, Birth By Sleep is the 3rd best selling KH, on PSP, that is on top of the GBA, DS, & 3DS games, can't prove me wrong "PARTNER".

They're talking about the main games in the series, not the spin-offs, in the article it is said it has some association with Nintendo, but Nintendo didn't get the main games. But in terms of sales, the PS brand is the most associated with Kingdom Hearts, even the PSP game in on top of the DS & GBA games.

& gamer42- FFXV is now a multiplat, as well as KH3.

IDK about that, but looking at the Eli kid, there's no doubt in my mind he's Liquid Snake, definitely him.

I am in the least affected by the change of voice actor, of course I miss Hayter, but Keifer Sutherland is a very talented actor, lending his voice for Big Boss is a great addition for the series, I always welcome change as long as it doesn't have any negative effect, in which voice acting isn't. Having seen 24 and the movie Lost Boys, I definitely don't have a problem with Sutherland.

@ Heavenly King- That's your own truth, or should I say "Your own opinion" because I did really enjoy Rising and it got good reviews, just because you don't like what Kamiya said or because Kojima didn't work on it doesn't mean Rising is a bad game, & that's the problem with a lot of gamers, now they're mad at the fact Keifer Sutherland will play Snake instead of Hayter, I take that as a good welcome since Sutherland is an excellent actor, get with the ti...

@ Chente0025-Can't say Wii U is the best when PS4 & Xbox One aren't even out yet, so it's best to wait before coming with conclusions.

@ SIANSLOW- Linearity has clearly nothing to do with graphics, Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night & past 2D Zelda games weren't linear at all, nice attempt, try harder next time fanboy.

The one thing going on with the N64 was the analog stick, but the PS1 was centered around 3D gaming way before N64, look at Tomb Raider.. Once Sony released the DualShock, that's where there were games that could move around, left analog for movement, right analog for camera view, can't beat that. Sorry but that 3D in Mario wasn't any different from the majority of PS1 games, of course it was a bigger game, more scaled, but that didn't interfere with the likes of MGS, Tomb Rai...

N64 didn't have online gaming, it was the Gamecube, but it was limited to 4 games, mostly the Phantasy Star Online games, but the title for coming with online gaming is given to Sega with the Dreamcast, & the Saturn prototype(Sega Pluto) had an online broadband, but they removed it for the final version.

I wouldn't call it a mistake, they're just simply experimenting to see how the Nintendo audience receives Yakuza. And you want them to simply start to do everything all over again when they can use the PS3 port? You're out of your mind, & it's a fact the majority of 3rd party games do not sell well on Nintendo devices. Look, this will be the first time the series is heading to a non-PlayStation platform, you should appreciate the fact Sega is trying to give the Nintendo fa...

@ akaihana86plus, stragomccloud, & BeZdaBest- Sorry, but I have to be in Skarlett's favor. One thing is to like a game franchise, another is to dislike a console. If he doesn't like Nintendo, so be it, that's his opinion, it should only matter to him, nobody else. Gaming ain't no religion, don't get it twisted in your heads. Just because he's not buying X console for the game he likes, that doesn't mean he's not a fan. Just like Biohazard 4, did every singl...

No backstabbing at all, there have being already 8 Yakuza games on PS devices before the series now going to a different platform. The Yakuza games are a guaranteed success on PlayStation, & it's good to see the series is expanding & get a chance to reach to a different audience, just like Monster Hunter, Biohazard, Tekken, Ace Combat among others, I bet to Sony doesn't see this as a back-stab, that means they were right in supporting the series, 8 successful games is big enou...

@ AdvanceWarsSgt says someone with an username after a Nintendo game. Not saying you are a fanboy though, but I agree that Rainslacker elaborated a better example of what a fan should be like. I'm totally far from being an ignorant hypocrite telling someone they not a fan if they did this & that.

But Reguzeeb saying Fakdafakinfakerz wasn't a Nintendo fan if he jumped ship as early as 1994 sounds a lot like a fanboy to me, he was using an excuse to defend his compa...

@ Reguzeeb- Then tells us what's really a fan. I mean, there were PS fans that moved to Xbox, Sega fans that moved to Playstation. If it's those that encourages Nintendo's mistakes, buying & playing the same old-ass games for the past 25+ years ignoring good 3rd party games, no, these are fanboys. You're clearly a Nintendo fanboy, a fanboy is a total different beast from a fan, a fanboy is a puppet, meaning anything Nintendo does, whether is bad is a blessing, or if it'...

5m PSV sales are decent enough, but gotta give it time because it can have games that could help it push sales further both 1st & 3rd party, & is getting decent support because they know the games can sell on a Sony handheld, but in Nintendo's case, it's mostly 1rst parties.

Whether you like it or not, Mario & Zelda are for kids, even thought adults plays em as well, Nintendo are like the Disney of videogames.

It could depend on the compan...

Honestly, the fans are what's wrong with Nintendo, if you look at it, there's being 11 Mario games, out of those 11, 8 are Mario-Themed, plus the 2 Mario & Sonic Olympics, 2 Zeldas, Metroid Prime Trilogy + Other M. You're asking "why does every game console have to be the same? Why does every game console have to be aimed at the exact same sort of gamer?" I ask you what's the point of Nintendo releasing a current-gen console 7 years late? & they're target...

Don't bring the Vita to spit things around, it has to do with a console's attach-rate, because the Wii, as much as it sold the most units, it had the lowest attach-rate in regards to 3rd party companies. In comparison, most 3rd parties have made most of their money on PS3 & 360 this entire gen.

To put matters more interesting, Sony & Microsoft doesn't have to worry about Nintendo having a bigger lead in console sales when the majority of 3rd parties knows ...

You're using just one game to twist things around as if the same can be said about other platforms. Look at Dead Space, Mass Effect, Need For Speed, Medal Of Honor, Fifa, Burnout, EA made money with all of these games, especially with Battlefield 3 selling almost 16m copies, & I highly doubt Battlefield would, & the fact Batman, Mass Effect & Fifa didn't sell on Wii U has nothing to do with being smart, only thing I give Nintendo fans props is not buying Call Of Duty, but ...

Yeah, Nintendo backed a game of that quality. Try harder next time.
