You're in for a treat. They both still stand up really well today.
Which is why I have gravitated towards handheld gaming here lately. Closing in on 40 in a couple of years.
As much as I have enjoyed console gaming my whole life, still enjoy my PS4... I have found myself on my Vita, now Switch a whole lot. Sometimes remote playing, just keeping my PS4 on. I have been playing a lot of JRPGs and racers though that lend themselves well to pick up and play. I can lay on the couch and game while my wife or daughter are watching their shows.
Hey, at least you're cool about it, that was a good response.
I get ya. Around the age of 25 is when a lot of us start to go through life changes into adulthood. Give or take for others. Whether it's finishing college, beginning a career, getting married, starting a family.. our gaming life will ultimately go through some changes.
You're at 28, so you're going through that transition, hence "aging gamer". I'm 38 myself, 39 la...
I wish they would remaster the X version of it. I haven't owned a Wii since I sold it in 2008 and never owned a WiiU. Maybe the chances are good since XBC2 is doing well and Monolith is a 1st party studio.
Pull a Shadow of the Colossus; remaster it a 3rd time! lol I'd buy it day one.
Well, I have had a bit of goosebumps in XBC2 seeing old Blades, knowing their past from 500 years ago and wondering wtf happened through all of that time. I knew who the main character Rex was as soon as I met him, bc of his golden eyes. I just had a lot of emotional investment built up with past characters and Blades that show up again in XBC2 that I wouldn't have had otherwise. I guess playing the main game 1st, everything will be a bigger mystery. But so far, now 6 hours in, I've b...
Thanks guys, I'm ready to sink a ridiculous amount of time into the main game. Just the beginning setup is so great. The fact that it's portable will make it easier to squeeze in as much time as possible.
I actually bought the Torna standalone when I bought my Switch during the 1st week of Nov. Got XBC2 later for Christmas.
I just beat Torna and am 5 hours into XB2. Wow, is it good. That ending. I can't truly say until I beat XB2, but playing the prequel "DLC" (amazed that it is just part of an expansion pass. I clocked 40 hours in.) first really is making XB2's story more impactful. Knowing the lineages, the history..
This game deserves all the success it gets.
That's why he's a journalist and not a developer. Much easier to criticize than to create.
I've quite enjoyed this on PS4, love the smartass banter between the main guy and the fairy. I picked it up for dirt cheap during a sale. I never finished it and honestly am not in front of a TV much anymore, so the portability of this Switch version seemed tempting. I saw that $39.99 price tag though and was turned off, because it's an old game and I do own it already.
I will bring to attention that it's currently on a 20% launch sale though for $31.99 on the ...
I'll get it again only for the portable play. It'll look great on the small screen. I won't even touch the docked I'm sure. At least they're not trying to throw a $60 pricetag on it, only $30.
There are many others, including ones listed here, but I'll throw in Suikoden I & II for myself.
Exactly. "Google Error: The page you requested was too large to translate.

"The Antitrust noted that the penetration of this practice has involved a massive amount of customers who purchased the console. Its long duration has been highlighted, too, since the practice has been going on since PlayStation 4 launched on the market in November 2013."
So massive penetration in a long duration. Where's the problem here?

I will say that there are some of us who do actually purchase outside of our region for legitimate reasons... for instance, I am an American expat who has lived in EU since 2014. I'm still a resident here, not a citizen though. My Switch was bought here in Europe, but I purchase almost everything from the US store. Cheaper prices, but I still maintain my American bank account and credit cards while I live here. It's a right I maintain as a citizen living abroad. I still maintain Ameri...
I had played it at Lisbon Games Week back in November, and that was my same take away. I felt like I was being rushed through an experience that isn't supposed to be. The line of people behind me, the noise of the crowd completely ruined the experience too... but I could tell it was going to be great just from what I did play. I knew it would be different playing at home, in the dark with surround sound. Taking my time.
I've still yet to download this demo, but I t...
Your soul.
This really is a fun game once you look past all the collectible toy thing. That doesn't interest me and it isn't needed one bit to get the best out of it. I really love the Starfox inclusion, not just as a playable character, but actually weaving the team into the story.
It has made me a Nintendo fan *AGAIN*. I've been Sony and PC mostly since the launch of the PS1, and the glory days of Unreal Tournament, Quake 3 Arena over on the PC side. The last Nintendo console I LOVED was the Gamecube, but there just wasn't enough. I wanted it to succeed more, but it didn't happen. It's still a gem, and my last Nintendo console I truly loved. Still, a secondary system though. I'm 38 years old. I grew up on Nintendo and Sega, so I had a lot of love fo...
Stunt Race FX! I haven't played that since I was a kid. Anyone else remember it, using the Star Fox tech? Loved it. Hope it still holds up well.
