I've never payed a dime into Smite and have had a blast with it on PS4 and PC. It's a nice change from the standard overhead MOBAs. Aiming is indeed easier on the PC version, as expected.

They give you a set of Gods there in the beginning, weekly challenges, daily login bonuses. I never felt the desire to own every God. I actually have a few I unlocked that I didn't care for with my preferred playstyle. Even with new Gods that I've unlocked, I still like goi...

I don't completely hate it... but yea, this story is pretty emotionally powerful in the *Spoiler Alert...seriously, stop reading here if you haven't beat it* idea of all of the island and its inhabitants existing only in the Wind Fish's dreams. Once he is awoken at the end, everyone disappears never to exist again. (except for that Labyrinth style hint after the credits) This hit me pretty powerfully when I played this on the og Gameboy, around 12 or 13 at the time. I remember sta...

Amy Henning approves of this post. No, really. Look at her... she's really loving that post.

On topic- Interesting concepts, but I really would like to continue seeing epic storytelling as she's known for. If she can still pull that off in smaller scale, then great. I just hope she doesn't lean TOO much to the casual crowd. I have faith in her though with her track record.

I'm sure they're already trying to figure out how to microtransaction the hell out of future sequels.

A fan, a pretty big fan maybe, but not a fanboy. I think fanboyism is to blindly praise "X" like a Sun God worshipper, never questioning or admitting faults. I game on all platforms, have my preferences of course, but I'll be quick to tell you when one of them makes a misstep. I'll always just be a fan of games first and foremost.

I didn't like the first Killzone at all, at least from what I can remember way back on PS2. Loved Killzone 2, still own it....

Certainly not Diablo Immortal, lol

I'd buy the WCIII remaster day 1 though, if they care to have any of my money this year.

@Slasaru Sweet. So it does have the fully destructable city that can be played completely in co-op after all? The one that was promised in 2015. The original Crackdown was all about the campaign co-op for me and my buds. Glad to hear this surprise, because co-op is what I have been looking forward to the most since it was announced and detailed.

*Look, I'm all for giving Microsoft kudos when they release a solid game. FH3 & 4 are 2 of my favorite games this gen, bu...

Yea, the leaker had said a 2D Zelda is coming soon. Whether it will be mentioned tomorrow, he doesn't know.

I don't usually like to put too much faith in hearsay, but the article talking about this leaker showed his pinpoint accuracy in the past... including the fact this Nintendo Direct would be on Feb 13.

I'm excited for a new 2D Zelda on the Switch!

I'd kill for a GOOD Starfox sequel as well, although nothing mention...

Certainly a Dwight Schrute, alright. Fact.

"As for next week’s supposed Nintendo Direct, king zell says that Metroid Prime Trilogy will “probably” be there. He adds that Nintendo has a number of games to announce this year (not necessarily in the Nintendo Direct), including Pikmin 3, Super Mario Maker 2, some sort of BoxBoy, plus the latest 2D Zelda and Pokemon entries. Other than that, he says there are more third-party games on the way, including “better Japanese support” – possibly as ports."

Here's the...

With the huge success of Horizon Zero Dawn, the studio was meant to expand from then, around 250 employees to around 400. They were supposed to move into a new studio space as well. I haven't kept up with it since that news, so I don't know if those numbers were achieved. But if so, it's possible that they've adopted a 2 active project pipeline. We'll see.

I do believe Killzone deserves another chance. Shadow Fall's execution was meh, but like your ...

Anyone else notice that the review embargo silently got moved from the promised release of today, the 11th? Metacritic now says it's the 14th, the day prior to launch. Ouch.

I agree. You have to give Grandia credit, it was a fantastic game. I just have to give it to Xenogears for my personal favorite. Xenogears was actually a failed story pitch for Final Fantasy 7, but I'm glad it got a life of its own and we got FF7 and Xenogears. PS1 is my favorite JRPG era. I hope to see a resurgance of classic style JRPGs on the Switch, since it will be carrying the torch of the 3DS anyways.

Thanks Videochums, I may have to pick up a used PSP sometime, those sadly never came to PSN for Vita. I had sold my PSP by the time it came out. Back when I used to impulse sell at Gamestop. Not happening this time w my Vita. I stopped selling stuff all together bc I've come to realize I like to revisit things and it's good to have that library when I do.

I did not know that! Hell yea! Now wish SE would remaster Xenogears for the Switch!

I voted Xenogears. God, I loved that game. I still own a physical copy of it, and well most of the great PS1 rpgs (damn, I regret selling Suikoden 2 for rent money!). Glad to see a lot released on Vita/PSP though, including Suikoden 1&2, two of my all time faves. Wish they had released the Star Oceans on Vita, but I do still own the discs. I just like having them for on the go.

*Edit- I also love that while not a sequel or part of the same world, Xenoblade Chronicles 1...

Yea, I think the Metroid Prime 4 delay video was released when it did so that they can turn around and surprise us with an impending release of the Trilogy. Smart move. That was one of my first thoughts also, here comes the Trilogy!

Yea, I'm disappointed in the delay, but like most fans, I want it to be the best it can be. Retro should have been in charge from the beginning, but at least they are righting the ship, rather than releasing a mediocre game. The Trilogy will...

Good. Maybe he can whip out the Old Spice to mask the stench of disappointment.

Seriously though, I'm going to renew my PC Gamepass for a month and give it a go. I wanted to play more Forza Horizon 4 anyways. If I don't like it, no big loss, at least I'll get to play FH4 more. I was excited 5 or so years ago when they first showed the target game, talk of a fully destructible city. Not this MP arena thing. Maybe I'll get some laughs from Crews though. He'...
