Because 90% of their customer base do not have a gaming pc and never plan to. You make it sound like everyone has a gaming rig when in reality only a very small percentage do.
The site has been down since last night.
I don't think Sony won e3. They both had great shows though but I do wish sony had more in 2015. Their 2016 is looking pretty solid though.
How long does it normally take for these updates to hit the consoles? My son is flipping out about a duke fishron. I'm assuming a couple of months?
It would have cut into the sales of the full version. A business decision.
Obviously it would be better to have all future system features at launch but better late then never. Plus it's coming right at the cusp of the mainstream transition period. very good timing.
I didn't even think of that! That's going to be nice.
It's not really hard to understand. If you invest thousands of dollars in your games library, it would be great to still be able to play them. It makes the decision easier to make when deciding on which platform to upgrade to.
how about waiting until the service actually launches this holiday before complaining about the number of titles?
Base model $1299 premium model $1499
This tech will be very expensive
Can you imagine the next xbox under this guys reign? ohhhwee! :)
I thought they partnered with Valve for that. Or am I thinking about something else?
Dominate? no, not even close but I will agree that Horizon was definitely their game of show. Easily in the top 3 of E32015 across all platforms.
All valid points, good article. Though I must be the only person who didn't know ff7 was so anticipated.
Completely agree, Sony should have saved most of those 2017-2018 games for e3 2016-2017. Waay too early sony.
Horizon and uncharted, yes. The rest, could care less about but to each his own.
20 million repurchases!? More like 2-4 million at most. MS extended all warranties for rrod consoles. They were replaced for free. Those aren't repurchases.
This deal was put into place months before e3. Confidence has nothing to do with it. Deals happen all the time and Microsoft is being agressive.
The rare games and recore were a surprise to me.
The competition isn't between sony and nintendo. It's between nintendo and mobile.
