I know it's a beta, but with only three weeks to go it just seems unfinished. I played the PS3 beta and the amount of pop ins was absurd. People were floating, textures were missing and I just felt unimpressed, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to this game.
I decided to cancel my PS4 pre-order and go for Killzone Shadow Fall instead as that's a game that's made specifically for the PS4 and doesn't have split teams working on different vers...
So far *touch wood* I haven't had any problems since the latest patch.
Ridiculous.
I'm looking forward to the open beta tomorrow.
I kept losing my characters. I did manage to play for a bit yesterday before I lost everything again, but I won't be going on until Rockstar fix this mess.
Beyond and the BF4 beta will keep me going.
8 weeks and a day for us. I'm counting down the seconds.
At least this has happened in the beta and not the full release. Maybe DICE can use this time to try and prevent some of these hacks.
I've given up with GTA Online. I won't touch it for another few weeks. I keep losing my character and I keep getting stuck at the first race. I managed to complete the race and do the first mission a couple of times, but today it's gone back to being unplayable.
Besides, Beyond comes out next week and the BF4 open beta is out tomorrow so those will keep me occupied until Rockstar sorts this mess out.
I really enjoyed the demo and as a Heavy Rain fan next week can't come soon enough.
That's what I did a number times but don't do it again otherwise you'll just save over your last creation. The problem is that the character is saved on the cloud but there is a problem syncing so that's why it isn't appearing.
It's decent so far, but I keep having my character and rank deleted, though my money remains intact...
I managed to have a play at long last, though my original level 4 character got deleted...
I just hope the next time I go on my character remains.
Censorship is wrong - especially in video games.
Why as a fully grown man am I not able to see a bit of violence when I see it in other games and films all the time? why must the nanny state censor some violence from a video game? *sigh*

Not sure why Rockstar couldn't have used a system like Saints Row uses? Sure, people can create freaks, but that's what makes it fun.
I've been so impressed with the work they've done with GTAV that it's a shame that they've gone and spoilt it with a BS system and an ill-prepared online launch.
No, it's happened to me too. I made my character but can't connect. I assume that's the same for 99% of players.

I just lost my character this evening. I was playing fine then the game froze so I restarted my PS3 only to find my character has gone again.
Well I'm not going to bother creating yet another character if there is the possibility of it existing on Rockstar's servers, so until it gets sorted I'm going to play other games instead.
