Guys, you need to chill out. The liklihood of your details being used for fraud is small, but to be on the safe side, visit your banks and see what they can do. When the PSN is back on, change your passwords, and like me, buy PSN cards instead.

This probably will hit the news, considering that the fact that the PSN was offline hit the mainstream media, like BBC news 24 and Radio 1.

http://www....

Well I'm officially concerned. I'll be going to my bank tomorrow as I have my debit card info on there, and see what they can do about it.

As soon as this is back online, I'm changing my password and pulling my debit details off. I'll be using PSN cards in future.

Uncharted 2 wasn't a one off, what about Uncharted 1? that was equally as good in my opinion. Lack of multiplayer aside, it was definatly my joint GOTY 2007 with RFOM.

I must say that media attention has been increasing. I watched it on BBC news 24 at lunch time and I heard it mentioned in the Radio 1 news report.

I'm hoping Sony get it back online asap, we could get a new firmware too that accompanies the rebuilt PSN.

We don't really know the specs yet, whether the console will be near PS4/Xbox 3 standard or if it'll be in between or even slightly more powerful than a PS3. As for the games library, again, we know jack yet, there could be a ton of games revealed at E3.

Whilst the Gamecube didn't sell like crazy, it was still a great console. If Nintendo can match the quality of the games, have a standard dual analogue controller, great launch titles, add a better online with som...

Whether we do or do not need a new generation is entirely opinion based. Some people want it now, even some devs, but others want to wait a few more years because there are still alot of games coming out to look forward to.

For me personally, I'd like next-gen to start at the end of 2012/spring 2013, as I'm flooded with games this year. Like I've said before today, its anyones guess as to when these consoles are coming out. We'll have to wait until this E3 or ...

Is this a next-gen console? I don't know, but you never know what Sony and Microsoft have cooking in their techno ovens...*is hyped for E3*

I've been playing Red Dead Redemption, working and playing football in the hot sun. Thank God the weather is nice in the UK right now, thats all I can say.

At the end of the day, we have no idea what Sony or Microsoft have planned. I predicted next-gen to start at the end of 2012/spring 2013, but in all honesty I have no idea, and nobody has either.

Who knows what Sony and Microsoft will announce at this E3, but I'm excited either way.

It was a concept someone made up a few weeks ago, definatly fake.

My last Nintendo console was the Gamecube too, which I loved dearly. I'm hoping this console is more mainstream like the PS3/360, and if Nintendo are concentrating on hardware as much as software, then I'll be pleased. Hopefully we won't see as much shovelware either, and a better online. I look forward to seeing it in action at E3.

EDIT: I'm happy to hear that it'll be backwards compatible with Wii games. Maybe Gamecube games too? only time will tell.

For paying PS Plus users, then yes, some sort of compensation would be nice. However, for those who are just regular users, then no, because the service is free, and you're not paying for anything.

With regards to Sony's vague statements, a company has no obligation to divulge in private information. They said "external intrusion", I think we can all guess what they meant by that.

I've been using this time to finish RDR, which I stopped playing a while ago.

They didn't screw with gamers. I hate how Anonymous think they're fighting a war for us. We don't want this at all, we just want to play our games online with no problems. Now bugger off, Anonymous.

Give me online gamer tags like the PSN or XBL and I'd be more than happy to buy BF3 on Nintendo's next console. I don't see it working well with friend codes...

EDIT: Judging by the disagree I guess we are. Makes sense.

Well considering DDOS attacks can land you in prison for 10 years in the states, I guess the FBI are interested.

Well I'm glad that Anonymous has granted us mercy...from these retarded immature attacks. I hope the FBI are successful and trace these nerds.

I'm hoping we'll get private beta invites soon.

Go FBI! it was only a matter of time until law enforcement agencies would get onto this.

That guy speaking for Anon is English it seems, damn, what an embarrasment to my country. ¬_¬

EDIT: Nice newsreader by the way...
