it great to expand to more casual audience and family
Kinect is just not for fps or slashers its for the casual audience and young family members. I think it a great idea that Microsoft is not just looking at hardcore audience which it's been doing a pretty good job with that all along. most people that play halo or call of duty don't want to use a move, wii or Kinect device to play these games.
amazon and walmart have great packages, best buy should join the show...
All that most people have to do is apply new thermal past fixes most issues with all consoles. Fan upgrade or new cooling is a plus specially water cooling if you want to fork out a little money.. :)
I heard that if you have it higher or lower requirements that it give more distance on tracking the body by a foot so it would me like 5 feet instead of 6 for the tight places.
During the calibration process it needs to be quite so it can optimize for the size and conditions of the room also to cancel out any ambient sounds. its clear it will works with a movie.
if they are expecting to sell over 3 million am sure they have the supply and then some to cover any lack in any store. lol
Well if you need a big screen like that then I would go with projection and save tons of money... =o)

Well just about any cpu on the market u can cook on that why u have cpu cooler to dissipate the heat.. The vent from the slim box is right over the heat source and the reason for the higher temps.. =p)

I reserve all judgement until I play Kinect in the stores for how good the game play is. It's target is casual players with family or social parties. I don't know to many hard-core gamers that will hold a gun or motion controller in front of the tv for a few hours playing a FPS game. I see people talk about 3 or 4 players I have not seen Wii with that many players. lets start of with one player move requires you to have the basic package to play some of there games at $99 but to play with what they recommend you need to add the nav and another move controller another $80 dollars, that equals $180 over 360 Kinects $150. With the Move recommended setup you can play two players but there is a chance that you would have to sink in another 80 bucks it could cost you $260.
Don't get me wrong I think that Ps3 Move is a better for hard cor...
am sure there will be games that will be coming out with the device and its still early because they have not released pricing even though it looks to be at 150$ I think it will be a shame if all there title are 60 dollars. I think everyone know that xbox live service is better and worth the money and ps3 is pushing for a similar service...
I could have what requires but most people like what it recommends to play the game. well if it a turn based game all u need is one for as many players on both devices, but not at the same time.
if Kinect is 150 dollars for 1 to 2 players of course there is no need to buy two kinects, STUP. for a collection of games will requires a camera 40$ 2 move controllers 100$ and Navigation Controller 30$ so that would be 170$ or bundle game with extra would be 180$. that is for only one player, which I think most games will be more focused on single player aspect. well it is strange to end the story and not be able to continue on your side quest but there all the auto saves and manual save to back up before finishing the last quest and playing on. well for now ps3 will have to suck up that U are not going to get your dlc for now maybe latter and that the way it is being a ps3 owner this generation.
well if hard core gamers are like that picture maybe it a good thing. I know that it a nice thing now that ps3 or xbox is attracting casual audience so the hard core gamers that have a family can get these consoles and play the good games unlike some of the wii titles.
