I think Kinect did the right thing to give them the image boost for the family buyers and to expand there sales buy targeting the family..

kinect is a perfect device to expand the console base to casual market, my family loves the device and has a good future with the right games. I think Dance Central for kinect is what Halo was for the Xbox... If Harmonix created Kinect device for Dance Central they would of had a very successful product as rock band is now.
I just had a friend bought the move and has already bought nav and another move controller, he is having family coming over the week before xmas and feels if he has another player he should buy a few more controllers, it costing him a lot more then my kinect package.
one thing is space for kinect and for me it has not been that bad I used the 15 dollar wall-mount to get the feet that i needed to play, and I don,t have a big living space.

all I know is I love my kinect with the family it really is fun. It's nice that my little daughter can play and my wife can have fun too. always great when friends and family are over..:)
Artsaber you are going to need the transfer cable. will only cost a few dollars at a used game store. I would say it.s worth it.
kinect is a awesome tech in my opinion and owner. I also love the new redesign. Im sure if ps3 came out with new design it would help sales, plus im sure they are not going to drop the price 100 dollars but they might drop it 50 so it would be 249.99...
some good fighting game would be good. I think if microsoft or a game company added a navigation controller you could come up with some good games to use with Kinect....

all I know is it doesn't matter how many is shipped or sold because the software sales on the Move are bad compared to Kinects software sales, I think we can all agree on that because number don't lie. other then that a bunch of fan boy conspiracy theories. lol =o)

kinect at 8 million would be huge bad for sony, less users 3 to 4 million.

all we got to do is look at the sales of software Sports Champions (PS3) less then 1 million not to great for attached game bundle..
agree that its cool shit and playing it a lot but, wouldn't want to use it for hard core games. would be like using guitar hero for call of duty.. nope!!!
I think with just a few games that kinect was worth the price paid.. I love dance central and kinect sports. some people pay 200 plus just for rockband or guitar hero. Kinect is like that but to me its more.. just hoping next update will come with dvd support for voice as well as netflix. :)
I have had Kinect in my house for a few weeks and amazed my the quality of titles and how well it works still would like to see more use of voice and navigation in the dashboard and apps. never had any issues tracking the body unless your standing to close to the sensor I was at Best Buy this week and kid was complaining about how bad it was tracking his body, he was standing 3 feet in front of the sensor, i told him to move back so it can see his entire body and worked fine.
