The Vita needs a price drop in the west, a permanent free memory card for every purchase, more exclusives would definitely be welcomed and make all future indie games Cross Buy won't hurt either but most of all Sony should stop supporting the PSP in the Land of the Rising Sun and get all those developers on the Vita and help the games with the western audience get localized.
They did the same with Tales of Symphonia when it was released on PS2 before. So in some ways this was to be expected. Now I expect they will do the same for the Tale of games on the Vita. T_T
The MC of Suikoden I, II & V are pretty good too.
I believe the PS3 already has games with "Always-On". So this is nothing new.
But having an "Always-On" console that could very well affect all the features, apps and games that does not require this would be another matter altogether.
Steam does not affect all the aspects of whatever you do in your computer. That issue only stays with Steam but if a console goes "Always-on" then even the games, apps and feature that does not need an "Always-on" feature will be affected.
The environment is different. So the affect will be much more broader on the console part.
Do not worry Grib it takes a lot of character to actually admit when you made a mistake and feel terrible about it.
As for the article, I am thankful someone wrote about this. In some ways this could defeat the purpose of PS+ since its main motive is to get those people who hasn't purchased the games to try them and then buy into the franchise.
Not being able to get a permanent version automatically after purchasing it because you had a PS+ freebie before...
Atelier and Valkyria :D :D :D
Now if I can only find someway not to get murdered by tax when I have those ship here @_@
And yet they do the same thing, which is to annoy the other fanbase and make the other side look bad than they do. Oh! the irony.
Grandia 1 & 2 will always have a special place in my gaming heart.
3 was okay but Extreme was terrible.
How can the offerings being made on PS+ be bad? If your a gamer who hasn't purchased some of the games currently on offer, then you would probably try them out to get your moneys' worth out of the subscription and if you happen to like the games then it would probably get you to buy into the franchise and that means new customers for the developers and publishers.
They also need to localize VCIII :S
Why not upgrade it to the 3DS or Vita? and I hope they bring over the book as well. Even in limited edition a hard copy of the Wizard Book would be cool.
Well... you know all these leaks could just be a way for MS to gauge the reaction of the community and then change everything before the Next Xbox announcement.
They did delay their press conference from this month to next month didn't day?
So who knows what the final word is on this "Always Online" rumor.
LOL! at the disagrees, come to the Philippines and judge for yourselves then.
This is the facts not fiction.
Still if you guys have great broadband internet then all I can say is I'm envious of you.
If 1st world nations are still having issues with their internet connection, just imagine us who lives in 3rd world countries.
We don't even have any proper infrastructure for high speed broadband internet. -_-
@ThePonyCollie
I would love to know which 3rd world countries are those because my country certainly ain't one of them.
If the install base is the reason we are not getting an English version of those Tales Of games for the Vita then why didn't they release them on the DS before?
Those games came out on the DS first, the DS was selling like hotcakes and we got zip back then too. Come on Baba, don't do this to us twice.
Those 3 games mentioned (TR, Hitman, SD) probably made money but SE wanted the sales of those 3 games to cover whatever loses they made somewhere else.
SE's unrealistic expectation gave no justice to those 3 games and their developers.
I hope the next one that will lead SE has more sense than the one stepping down.
This is an old and a duplicate of this http://n4g.com/news/1182964...
I just wonder when Sony would stop supporting the PSP in Japan. So 3rd party game developers would start putting their games on the Vita because as it is, there is no incentive to move to the newer device.
At least FFX-2 even FFXII: WoR had good endings but FFXIII-2 had one of the most disappointing endings I have ever seen. Not to mention it felt like a stop-gap game for the next sequel that added insult to injury.
