Well you got to give vgchartz some props they do work hard to get their data, even in a region like Asia where its hard to get.
I also would like to know when this secrecy started.
That's because of the market. MS is dominating the NA market and people over there tends to buy on release. The PS3 is a little bit up in EU so both system probably negates each other in that region.
The place where PS3 dominates is Asia and their biggest market Japan is in decline because of declining population and the rest of Asia just doesn't buy that much game to begin with.
MS is banking of the Japanese developers for the hardcore Kinect games. So wait for TGS for Xbox360 exclusives and hopefully they are actually better than what we saw during E3.
I thought you only get less points if you ramp up the difficulty of the game? I'm just about to start in the good alignment.
Depends on what country you are in my case I had to pay to fix my 360 when it went RRoD twice because we don't have MS support in my country but we had Sony. QQ
I don't like it. The merger of this two giants will officially kill the fanboy wars and their senseless/mindless hate towards the competition and that would make the gaming community a very boring place. lol! (it would make it more intelligent but we all know stupidity has more entertainment value)
Skype will also be in the PSV.
The article should be asking for RPGs instead. lol!
Well I got to admit it does help you get games/movies/music that aren't in the legal market anymore or games/movies/music that isn't release in your local market. So yeah for all its downside there is an upside to it.
All MS needs to do is make sure the next Xbox doesn't have an RRoD type failure rate and a new format for their games, maybe the revival of the HD-DVD? All in all they should be good to go for the next gen.
If Sony can invest in advertising Vita as a dual purpose device for casual gaming (like what we have with the iPad/iPhone and other mobile phone devices) and for hardcore gaming that most of us already know about.
I think the PSV can surprise the market. It all depends on how Sony will market the device.
Not since Wada took helm of the company.
I agree, we shouldn't be checking the menu for plot points. For me it creates a kind of detachment to the whole story telling process of the game. The worse offender of this in most recent memory was 3rd Birthday on the PSP. (for me at least)
Its true FFXIIIVs according to Nomura is not in full production yet and how can it be when its major developers are being put into other projects like FFXIV and such. I mean right now I feel like Wada wants FFXIIIVs to be the next Duke Nukem Forever of the East or something. ><
Maybe one of the best developers this gen would be a better term ^^
I think it will take a year or so before the Wii U will start eating the hardcore market of the PS3 and 360 and by that time the PS4 and 720 would probably be scheduled for release.
I want to click on both but N4G won't let me... Xd
What I would like to hear from Bamco when it comes with partnering with Sony is releasing the PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia west side(Yeah I would like to have the pirate too) and confirm a localized release of Tales of Xillia.
I think a $50 price drop is realistic this year and another $50 next year when the Wii U comes to the market.
