Of course it wasn't worth $250 when the 3DS was opened up the parts inside was worth less than $200 (maybe even less)

Add multi-touch screen and touch pad at the back. If the devs can make it work, it could make things interesting for the gamers that plays the game.

According to the pirates and their supporters they aren't stealing they are sharing what is rightfully theirs to begin with and according to them that's everything that is on the internet or can be shared digitally.
For me the announcement of Wii U was unavoidable but I think the release of the 3DS without the AAA games was the thing they made a mistake on.
Also it seems that Ninty is dropping the price of the 3DS in Japan according to their latest financial release. This one I can honestly say I didn't expect to come this early.

This report is not surprising for a couple of factors.
Since the Wii U was announced the sales of the Wii has gone down significantly than ever before.
Since the 3DS hit the market it took a chunk of the market from the DS. Essentially you have two products by the same company fighting against each other.
The Yen is stronger than the Dollar and continues to do so. This affects all Japanese exporters greatly. I expect Sony to have the same iss...
I don't mind updates if they upgrade the game or fixes things.
The unending DLCs and Special editions though I feel is just too much sometimes.
Can't we just get a game with minor DLCs and get a sequel instead of another edition instead?
If your patient the game will become cheaper but if you really want to get the game and can't wait then its expensive.
This is why I love buying those Game of the Years editions or whatever you call it because mostly they are less expensive than the original launch price and has the DLCs included as well.
Wait a year if you can stomach it. lol!

well VC2 is already out on the PSP but VC3 doesn't have a western release date. So how about a PSV in HD release instead? That would be awesome >.<
I expect MS and Sony to play safe with the pricing. That's why we keep hearing that the next-gen won't be that ground breaking in terms of tech because they must cut back on the cost or suffer the same fate as the PS3 on initial release and with the current economy that could be a deathblow.
I expect the highest costing console to be $399 with $299 as the sweet spot that everyone would probably like to see, consumer wise.
A reliable and cost effective system that ain't going to burn a hole in the consumers wallet is all that I need. I'm an old school gamer I can survive playing with graphics that does look like the Avatar movie.
Its hard to argue against that but 4 had the best story in my opinion and has the best potential to have a sequel which Capcom for some reason didn't do.
This is the reason why I don't buy a console during its first year, usually the games that I want to play are far and in between of each other ^^
Nintendo doesn't need to worry about the 3DS because once the next Pokemon installment gets release on it then expect this handheld to fly off the shelf. Of course you can also say that the current economy is at fault and people are just waiting for a good deal this holiday and if Ninty does a price cut next year when the PSV is still young then they have a good chance to steal the thunder back to their favor.
Ninty is just being patient during the 3DS 1st year.
