Wasn't the Move developed first before the Wiimote?
At least according to this video:

Thank you for the clarification.
I think the major staff members are the same if I'm not mistaken. I forgot I haven't followed the development team for both games for a long time now. ^^;
Just let it come out first before porting it at least, lets lessen the delay >.<
I just realized the article is saying that Alan Wake sold poorly but it actually sold 1M copies... so how can that be poor? o.O
Exactly why leave your "bread and butter" when it still works. Milk it till the consumers gets tired of it.
For the hardcore this may sound really annoying but for the casual... well... they don't seem to mind.
I think MS strategy is pay the developers for exclusives or exclusive contents (it can be permanent or timed). The strategy has worked so far in the NA market. So I don't see them changing gears now.
They could also be saving some for the 720. Who knows.
Is this worldwide or just NA?
I'm starting to get confused on all this sales chart. Who is really out-selling who globally?
Xbox fans says 360 dominates but PS3 fans says otherwise. All I know NA is dominated by the 360 and Japan by the PS3 but everything in between from EU to Asia seems to be mixed information depending who's fan is saying it. ><
I actually wanted to say that. lol!
No, no ports of the game. It will cause more delays. Just get the game out already >.<
We already have the PC for that don't we? In terms of open-sourced software and such and MS has supported indie developers for quite awhile now while Sony just dump money on their own end as well.
Xenoblade has a 50/50 chance. Pandora's Tower on the other hand I'm not so sure. I just pray at least 2 of the 3 titles gets released for the English speaking NTSC market.
Ninty make it happen!
Yes ship this baby asap after your done and start working on FFXIIIVs!
I loved the new apprentice side quest of this game. Of course the Cabaret girls dating system is always a win for me. lol!
I'm not actually thrilled to hear that the console market will be service heavy because some of their services doesn't extend outside a certain region. ><
Its called brand loyalty. Its not uncommon for people to buy the same product over and over again.
Apple has done this with their products, Sony did this before with their slim editions for the Playstation.
As long as you can make a popular product better and support it properly people will buy it.
This gen has actually been the most polarizing in gaming history. At least in my experience.
From fanboys (hacker fanboys included) to east vs west thing. I've never seen the gaming community so divided in all my life. Maybe because a lot of casual gamers have flooded the market, I don't know.
Its just... instead of uniting different cultures and be more open minded to different ideas (like in pass generations) we seem to be indifferent and reject som...
Most products are either made from another persons idea and was reinvented to become better or the idea was just made by a couple of people at the same time but from different locations.
Why is people making a flame war out of this I will never know.
