I don't think even Microsoft knows the answer to that question

If it make the haters feel better, yes it a version of the Wii-mote but it's our version of the Wii-mote. Are you happy now? Now leave us alone and stop being a bunch killjoys. And jhani when think about it you will really only need to buy one Move Wand and the camera which is $80.00. If you want the game the pack is only $100.00. You don't need the nav yet and if you do you can use a controller. So stop exaggerating and throwing numbers around.

Everyone is so busy taking about how similar the Move looks and how they are copying Nintendo that they haven't noticed that Microsoft is following Nintendo even more closely then Sony. Look at the games, the motions used to play, the way they are marketing it. At least Sony is attempting to cater for both sides, casual and hardcore. But Microsoft isn't really taking as big a risk as people think. They are playing it safe and copying Nintendo almost to the letter.

There is still the TGS. Anything is possible between now and September. Maybe we will actually see UC3 in action then. Sony, please make it happen

Why? According to everyone 3D is lame and a waste of time. Oh yeah,I forgot Nintendo is saying it now so now it's a good idea. When Sony talked about it everyone's ears where clogged with hate.

Yes I need to hear the opinion from hardware thieves. I am surprised they let you people into E3. You know what is a real shame? That no one thinks anymore before writing anything. Just a lot of ignorant, biased fanboy babble. And for all people who keep going on and on about 3DS, I would rather save my money for a nice big 3D TV then make myself blind staring straight at a DS screen for long periods of time

First of all I don't know what 3DS have to do with motion controls, so could you leave it out of the Kinect/Move conversations ple ase. Second, why is everyone so stuck on mindless speculation? People said the PS3 would be a faliure. And here it still is breathing down Microsoft's neck and catching up. They said that no one would buy Blu-Ray, that it would die out.And here it still is one of the main formats for movies. They said the Move was a Wii-clone and would never be popular. No...

Sony says 'It's okay, your home again, among friends'

Isn't it just like Microsoft to leave out crucial information. It was important to know if the Kinect could be disrupted by things passing in front of the camera. But Microsoft,of course, conveniently left that little fact out. In fact there are many questions about the Kinect which Microsoft still haven't given a straight answer to. Makes you wonder what else they are not telling you.

I think what the main problem with Kinect is that I think it was made solely for the purpose of interface only.It probabiy is fine for moving files, calling up videos, watching TV etc. But seriously putting aside the fanboyism, immaturity and arguing for the sake of arguing, do you really see this catching on? How long are you going to jump up and down, leap from side to side, run in place, hop on one foot, wave your hands? 5 mins? 10 mins? Can you imagine doing it for even an hour. What abou...

Nothing is ever an issue as long as Microsoft and friends say it isn't. They didn't think Xboxs dying on you and damaging you games were a problem either. And lag isn't a problem? Tell that to someone trying to hit a ball in a baseball video game.Even 1 second of lag could be difference between a home run and an out. Rare, who cares what washed up company like you has to say anyway

I do believe dktxx2 and rdgneoz3 are right .So far none of the games seem to require 4 controllers. Most of the games seem to be either 2 players or passing the Move controller back and forth. So if you have a family of four you still can buy one Move Wand for now. You won't even have to buy the nav. Meaning that plus the camera is only $80.00. So this article is BS. On that note everyone keeps boasting that Kinect can work with 4 people on the cam but on seeing the motions that have to b...

It's amazing how stupid people can be. If you are justifying you purchase of the Kinect based on Microsoft's conference and their track record with Xbox hardware all I can say is, good luck. I on the other hand could care less about what Amazon says. When the Move comes out you will see how high it rockets up there list. Why wait until November when you can have the Move a whole month and some before it comes out?

Ummmmmm...... Thanks???

Yes, that will be the highlight of my years as a gamers. Why is it when ever they talk about Fable they always talk about this as if it's some sort of wonderful bonus? Is adopting children and being gay that much of a selling point? Is that why you people buy it? I don't get it.

It's amazing how the Move has gone from mere Wii clone to accurate precision tool in such a short time. That's one thing people didn't expect to happen at E3.

The one thing Sony should have done was make multiple pets. Dog, cat, fox, bear, bird etc. in the same cute form as their monkey each with their own needs. DLC maybe

5748d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think that is Microsoft's main problem. While the Move is trying to target all types of gamers, Microsoft is following Nintendo almost exactly. The way they are marketing it, the kind of games, even the motions are the same. Everyone keeps calling the Move a Wii-mote clone but guess what? The Kinect is the real clone. Microsoft is still playing it safe.

Okay I'm serious now. Why idoes Microsoft keep pushing the Kinect with these stupid features? Who cares if it can detect if yiu are a child or not? If I want to play a game with my child I will set the difficulty to easy and we will play on that setting. If my child can play well I will turn it to normal difficulty. I don't need the Kinect changing it for me. I make my own preferences. And if they mean chznge his or her difficulty alone then what's the point? While I get pummeled,...
