It's the usual Sony will fail talk we here every time. Just like the PS3 and Bluray. And they are still here. The PS3 is catching up fast and Bluray is a powerful format for media. In the next 1-2 years we will be wondering how we ever did without 3D TVs

Kinect is the creepiest thing I have seen in a long time. playing with invisible objects, talking to you 360, speaking to a creepy child, jumping around like a mental patient, taking care of non-existant animals. I think this might chase more people away rather then attract them.

Whether it true or not don't bother telking anyone that. No one has seen full games on it or seen how Nintendo will use this tech properly for gaming and people are already praising it to high heaven. So don't waste you breath Mr Kaz Hirai. When it comes to gaming tech everyone believes only what they want to believe and close their eyes so they don't see obvious and glaring faults and put their fingers in their to block out logic.
Peter Molyneux can't be that good a guy. He seems like a blow hard, a liar and an exaggerator to me. He will say anything to get his game to sell. Before he said that Kinect would be intergrated into Fable 3,but now we find out it will have nothing to do with it at all. And then he acts all nice saying 'please enjoy my game' or 'i hope you enjoy my creation'. Then you play it and realise that its the same generic sword and shield type adventure game with pointless choices...
People always act as if preorders can't be cancelled, minds can't be changed, systems can't be sold or taken back for a refund. Right now the Kinect is on top of the PREORDER list. But there is still about 5 months between now and the Kinect's release date. And between that time is TGS, GT5,LBP2, a ton of hardcore games and the Move's debut.Let's see if it's popularity can maintain high levels until then.

Kinect is hot right now but we Sony owners prefer to wait and see what the Move offers first. What's the point preordering something that hasn't shown any good games, any set price or proven that it can work properly.So you can say you got it first? When Move comes out then you will see it skyrocket to the top.
But you see gynecologistcobra that is not what you will do. The stuffed animal just transfers the code. You are not interacting with it at all. If they had found a way to make the animal on the screen respond to what the chid was doing with the stuffed one then I can see that working. In this case the child will not make the connection between the toy in his hand and the creature on the screen.So doing this is pointless. At least with Eyepet you can see yourself actually playing with the anim...
I hope Microsoft isn't trying to convince me to buy the Kinect with these idiotic features they are boasting about. Why in the hell would I want to go all the way to a store to buy a real plush animal for my child to scan it so they can pretend to play with it on the Kinect? Why not just download it as normal? Or just buy the child a stuffed animal. Do you really think a child will understand the translation from toy to on screen? Microsoft, are you joking or just stupid? Do me a favour ...

No, I am pretty sure the only people about to lose is Microsoft. With the Move coming out before Kinect, Sony has a jump on the competition. Why wait for the Kinect when you can have the Move sooner rather then later. By the time it comes out they will have lost a huge chunk of potential customers. Just wait and see.
