I have no doubt they will sell well but I agree. Please stop using the contently shifting, easy to cancel a preorder system of Amazon to judge popularity of something. It's the same thing 360 fanboys keep doing acting like Kinect preorders can't be cancelled and they equal sales.
You make a good point Allowen. If Sony upgrades to gigabytes in hundreds or to terabytes, digital download may not be an option usless someone has a way to speed up the download. Just imagine trying to download a game or movies (obviously not movie) 500 gigabytes big and an error happens during the process. But then again a game using 500 gigabytes or a whole terabyte? That might be enough to make Uncharted 4 big enough to let Drake travel to every town, city, state, island and continent on ...

Not a tech head. Does this mean a kind of format in the works? Can it be appied to gaming? If so between the full 3D projection thing they showed, the disc that that is 20 times the storage size of bluray with this laser to read it, I can see why Sony isn't ready for a new console yet. When they take the time to fully research all this new tech and figure out how to apply it to the PS4 and their other devices it will blow the competition away. Far far away
I have a PS3, a system with many single player based games. Wouldn't like to lose competitive online play but can live without it. Feel bad for people who play Crackdown 2, LFD2, SCC, Halo, Gears, MW2 and COD games with short or crappy single player campaigns and depend on multiplayer. They will suffer the most from this.
Sony already said they don't want to replace the controller. Even if you buy a move you and your friends can use which ever one feels comfortable. I am sure some people will be able to kick ass with the Move
Sony is the only risk taker left. No one seems to realise that dispite Move and the Wii-mote's physical similarities,Microsoft is following Nintendo all most to the letter. Their games, the kinect movements, the way they advertise it, the way they showcase it. Also Sony the one who takes chances with new IPs more then the others. Look at Heavy Rain. They took the chance and got a million plus sales from it and a potential sequel

So I consider it insulting that you would lump me together with the idiots who buy these Fisher Price like, no challenge, cheap, so called "games". Even if Kinect sells a billion Kinect units, it still wouldn't change what a piece of junk it is. Sales doesn't nessesarily equal quality or worth.

That tech demo was awesome. If Sony could give me a robot puppet like that to do what ever I want with it, that would be a definate buy.It would make a cool adventure game.

If the demo sold that well you don't have to be a genius to figure that the actual game will do even better. A GT5 PS3 bundle will fly off shelves. Denial of that fact won't make it any less true
I agree with Psfan999. Sony owners are loyal because of good service throughout the years. Dispite the few hiccups that have occured Sony has done nothing but give us a multitude of varied games. I even understand Wii owners sticking with Nintendo because of their past accomplishments.
