Though you might still need an amp, if your headset requires one to begin with.
BTW, just like Dolby Headphone - TrueAudio also allows for virtual surround sound. So MixAmps and the like shouldn't be required any more. :)
@Septic He is an MS insider. Folks at MS were under the impression that that's going to happen.
It was also the first time he ever "leaked" something about Sony.
If I read that right he actually calls the ones snobs who claim that resolution doesn't matter.
But yeah pretty "good" click bait. They got me, so I'm glad adblock was on.
Nope, they said all platforms. BTW X360 also gets dedis.
The only thing I can imagine happening is that the X1 might get more dedicated servers available compared to the other platforms.
It still switches between dedis and hosts, so more dedis should equal less hosts.
Though imho they should just get rid of the host mechanic altogether.
Were people actually expecting all features to be available on launch day? If so you'll be disappointed on both sides of the next gen console war.
Which significance does it have outside the US? None, that's why. Keep on living in your bubble.
No need for classes, however I'd like to have 4 presets for each individual weapon.
In BF3 I'm regularly switching between 3 weapon setups. With BF4 on the horizon I expect to change those even more because of the optical additions.
That could have been footage of the 360 version and you wouldn't see a difference due to that shitty video quality.
You've been in Xbone hyperbole mode quite a bit lately, haven't you? ;)
I did as well.
I forgot all about that mission but reading the article the memories are all coming back. It really was that annoying. I even recall landing behind the enemies to kill them conserving fuel. That limit was the most annoying part of the mission.
Do you seriously believe the BS you are posting?
"Common sense says the reason they didn't brag about actual specs early on is because they don't want Sony to counter their moves."
Common sense says that Sony hasn't been in a position to change anything about their hardware for a long time.
Still no info on anything you keep on posting; It's wrong, simple as that.
Actually Microsoft released a list of launch day games including Watch Dogs which won't be released any earlier than November 19.
Or was that a list for Europe?
AFAIK they can start the production early, however they wouldn't be allowed to sell the Xbox One in the US if it isn't approved by the FCC.
So you complain that they didn't quote him word by word? They really are at Gamescom, they also held the interview and Marc Diana did make these statements.
However, they updated the post with AMD's following statement, which <is> quite vague. ;)
"During a recent gamescom 2013 interview, an AMD spokesperson made inaccurate statements regarding the details of our semi-custom APU architectures. AMD will not comment on the Microsoft Xbox One ...
What's so vague about the article?
They reported that PS4's memory architecture can make use of the hUMA tech, while the Xbox One cannot.
That's pretty straight and simple if you ask me.
They also mentioned the source which should be a reliable one, considering he is the product marketing manager of AMD. If the Xbox One would support hUMA he wouldn't deny that.
BTW, I couldn't make any sense of your last paragrap...
Read the original; GG does aim for 60 FPS.
However they didn't quote anyone in that article.
I guess GG did reveal that in the interview which will be printed in the next issue of their mag "play3". However it takes some time for that to come out, so I guess we'll get confirmation from other site's earlier then that.
BTW Gamersyde actually filmed the gameplay from the reveal and it appears to be higher then 30 but not 60 FPS, yet...
With 100+ variables I doubt you'd want to go through that list in game.
Symthic.com will provide in depth stats again. :)
Also forgot about sidearm customisation and grenades.
What an overstatement,
I'd say you just can't appreciate these changes as much, if you've been used to them already. However, I can ensure that these will fit perfectly into the CoD formula as well.
BTW these are the first actual gameplay mechanic improvements since CoD4, if you don't count that crappy dive to prone from Black Ops. ;)
Pretty much depends on the amount of units available for the EU launch.
