Am I the only one that smells a marketing stunt here? ^^
It's not as if Kojima hasn't done strange things like this before. :P
Hacking, for the general public AKA those who just don't know better, is an umbrella term for any type of attack against a network.
Don't let it get to you.
There are just 5 things I'm missing from the PS4 OS atm.
1: suspend/resume play
2: A compact OS menu when in game
3: App grouping, sorting and hiding (For those pesky apps which you won't ever use)
4: Skype, Teamspeak or Mumble support to talk with friends which aren't on their console right now.
5: "record that" feature
@IGH2NW That's quite simple. They aren't going to look what you are doing. They'll simply throttle any connection from the service provider(Sony)'s servers.
@AndrewLB Gosh, you misterxmedia guys just try too hard to discredit anything Sony.
It didn't even surprise me where it took me when I did a reverse image search with it...
No, the motion blur in DC blurs screenshots but looks great in motion. (D'Uh)
W/o motion blur games look just as good, if not better, in screenshots.
They look insanely good, but not photo realistic, just yet.
I'd really like a PS3esque background where the color scheme changes.
Also: When I'm playing a game I want it to be visible in the background when I switch to the menu.
It's a common LED flashlight.
The tech just doesn't work properly, at least in that light situation. Here it picks up the general center of the surface the flashlight is shining on and then casts the shadow as if the light source would be coming from there instead of the flashlight.
Haven't played any Crysis game, but wasn't the major outcry about Crysis 2 that they didn't improve the graphics over Crysis 1, while the campaign itself was good enough?
God, you should look at Alabama/Georgia! The Sims 2, really?
That thing was free to grab just 2 weeks ago with all expansions etc on Origin... Oo
Even if they were to "protest" against it, why didn't they just get The Sims 3 instead?
The thing is, exclusive debut translates to exclusive for as long as MS doesn't drop that abysmal clause in their contract. ;)
It's completely in the hands of Phil Spencer and his team to make it happen.
Wait, did I miss MS getting rid of that launch parity clause - or do you just expect it to be dropped in the near future?
I liked the game, though there's one simple thing that annoyed me. It probably sounds silly to some, but I missed Delsin reacting to stuff that's happening verbally.
He doesn't make a noise while smashing and destroying a DUP command center. He never reacts when he's being hit, you can't hear him when he's jumping down a building crashing into the street, nor does he comment on stuff which he just blew up.
Outside of the story he'...
Got mine a while back, had to wait for 4 months and then upgrade to a bundle to receive it in march/april. According to the shop they wouldn't have been able to send me the Ps4 until sometime in June. Oo
BTW that was a major online retailer from Germany.
Win 8.1 as an OS is actually not bad, but the homescreen is so unnecessary. It annoys the heck out of me that it pops up everytime one hits the windows button. <,<
@nicksetzer1 Actually he seems to be right. Take a look at the letter box in the first few seconds of the GIFs.
It's missing AO on the Xone while the PS4 and PS3 versions have it. The 360 version wasn't done well so we can't compare it here.
Is that stuff about TLOU even true? I can't find a trustworthy English source. :X
Apparently that guy just copy/pasted the text from wikipedia.org, which has been posted by an Indonesian gamer without providing any source either.
He also didn't share in which country GoW is banned. :Y
But what would AR be used for in gaming?
I don't see it being used like a VR device since 3D worlds would overlap and clip with your environment. All I can think of is some casual stuff for Kinect and HUDs.
Though bugs can be the cause of framerate issues as well.
Just look at The Witcher 3 which had some dramatic frame drops until recently when they fixed some of the major problems causing them.
