...it's an MMOFPSRPG...of which, there are ZERO on the 360, or ANY platform, for that matter. Take the stupid, uninformed, negative comments that way >>>>>
Not according to THIS review score. IGN scored the 360 version .2 higher http://xbox360.ign.com/arti... . And, the PC version STILL has screen tearing; so much for the theory of PC's superior power over consoles.

"i want to play a game not watch a bloody movie, if i wanted to watch a movie ill go to the cinema, i dont expect to watch a film playing on my ps3 "
Well, gee...I guess Sony REALLY DID waste their time pushing Blu-Ray then. :D :p
...if you count the XBOX. ;)
...the lengths people will go to, just to play CRYSIS. :o
...games like this, and DIRT, are why I have no interest in Motorstorm. I like a true offroad simulation...not an arcadey demolition derby style free-for-all. DIRT was great...until I realized it had no online racing...then I was pissed. This game doesn't look to have some of the graphical touches seen in DIRT and GRID, but the gameplay sounds really thorough and solid...definitely giving it a shot. :)
DIRT had online TIME competition...nothing more. Perhaps you're not aware of what makes a "race". TOCA 1,2 & 3 had online racing; DIRT did NOT. Capiche? If you're going to make a lame attempt at correcting someone...know what you're talking about first. :o
My local pawn shop sells used 360s and PS2S for retail prices....some without boxes. :o
DIRT didn't have online racing...the best part of GRID...and HE DIDN'T EVEN MENTION IT!
..."play with your privates". :o
That makes ZERO sense. When a game is ported to another platform, it's in an attempt to reach a broader market...as in, people who don't own one of the platforms on which a game was previously released. Capcom and Bethesda weren't concerned with people who likely had already played their games on PC/360, or at least COULD have; they were after PS3-only gamers, who were looking for a new experience for their console. Unfortunately, early adopters for the PS3 weren't as hardcore gamers as 36...
...I was talking about the DEV being disappointed, by the lack of sales. Oblivion and Lost Planet both failed on the PS3; 700k for Oblivion, and 280k for Lost Planet. Oblivion for 360 sold 2.5 million, and Lost Planet 1.5 million.
"Since BioShock for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows won countless 2007 Game of the Year awards, we are excited to see the impact of this stellar title for the PLAYSTATION 3 system when it debuts this fall"
Prepare to be disappointed, chief. Year-old 360 games ported to PS3 don't fair well. Just ask Bethesda and Capcom. :o
Well, good for you, Kain. Too much time on your adolescent hands, little boy?
...and that's the best they can do? Bo-ring!

DVD is 13 years old, and prevalent worldwide. While much cheaper than a Blu-Ray player, standalone DVD players can still be pricey, depending on what "bells and whistles" they have. MOST PEOPLE aren't going to bother buying a standalone DVD player, if they just purchased a console with a DVD player included...that's hooked up to their TV already. Fact is, that mentality is EXACTLY the reason the PS2 sold as well as it did....and it's the reason Sony is using the PS3 as a Trojan Ho...
"We quickly realised that, by and large, everyone was either buying a console with a hard drive or was buying a hard drive after they bought their console, of the people that were connected to Live and using Marketplace"
See, the fact is, you DIDN'T realize that fact "quickly", or you wouldn't STILL be crippling devs by not allowing them to utilize the HDD. The ironic part is, a select few devs have actually gotten "permission" to require the HDD....
That's funny, considering I BOUGHT all of those games...as well as Psychonauts..., and still OWN Ico and BG&E. I'm just pointing out that with all the praise, and press coverage this game got when it released, the author has said NOTHING that wasn't said 3 years ago.
And BTW, I'm 37, and have been gaming since the Atari and Intellivision days...I'm hardly a "noob". :o
...you typed "your" instead of "you're". What a n00b. :D
BTW, do you like what I did with your name? :p
