Resistance:FOM and Motorstorm were BOTH shipped with millions of bundles....yet they STILL fell well short of Gears in sales. Gear was NEVER sold in a bundle; the 5 million + was pure gamer demand. R2 has no shot at topping Gears 2....legitimately, anyway. However, rest assured that Sony will have tons of R2 PS3 bundles on shelves for the holidays. :o
...um, NOT! The 360 has been the #1 platform for nearly every EA dev'd/published console game since it's launch.
With Borderlands, Aliens:CM, and BIA:HH all in development simultaneously, this was BOUND to happen. By the time this game hits shelves, nobody except fans of the series, will give a rat's ass about it. There's no way a WWII shooter can compete with Gears 2, Resistance 2, and the glut of other games coming out this fall/winter.
... Making such an asinine statement, and burning bridges with MS and Sony. The only ones cashing in on the Wii, are Nintendo and their 1st part devs. 3rd party devs are largely dumping shovelware on the Wii, much like EA's accustomed to doing.
Games like Gears, MGS4, GTAIV, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock...they've made a TON of $$, and weren't remotely possible with the Wii's Gamecube-in-disguise hardware.
