Say what you want about downloads and online services, but they will not rule the consumer market for another ten years, at least. If they are to be a really viable competitor, download speeds all over the world need to go up and huge investments in infrastructure need to be made. Wireless infrastructure, such as 4G networks, preferably.
Claiming anything else indicates either a lack of insight or an ulterior motive. Not sure what Major Nelsons sin is in this particular case, b...
What people tend to forget sometimes is that companies are in it for the money, and ONLY the money. If there's cash to be made, that's where they'll be. No respectable company would say no to obvious profits based on "integrity" or "spite", that would cost the CEO his/her job, for sure.
RE4 is currently my favourite game of all times, and I've completed it 19 times so far. I'm hoping RE5 will conquer that title. :)
I'm selling my Xbox 360 HD DVD addon, just put out the ad. Now I don't really need my Xbox 360 either, but who knows, some games might come along... Anyhow, I don't see any reason what so ever to clinge to HD DVD, that market seems dead to me now.
My thought exactly, have a bubble.
I also hope you're wrong.
;)
I agree, the guy chose to be a part of the Gamer Zone, and hence he should be given a chance, just like the rest of us. Clean slate, people.
If you have seen about 10 minutes of ANY Alone In The Dark game you will know pretty well how much that movie had to do with the games. And those games do have story, and plenty of it. Despite this fact, however, Boll manages to screw it up in such a fantastic manner that the movie is so incredibly bad that it isn't even funny on an ironic level. Most Mystery Science Theatre 3k are better than that movie. And yet, Boll blames the games and the fans. He is a grade A moron, in my opinion. A mor...
I have to say that I don't agree one bit. The demo is well worth the download, and the graphics/environments are great in this game. Floor textures etc look amazing, and I would recommend this demo to everyone, just for the imagery.
Got it for the PS3, haven't downloaded it on the Xbox 360 yet, since I prefer the PS3 controller for these kinds of games.
Well, maybe, just maybe, every comment in here isn't aimed directly at you, and you might just not be the centre of the universe.
Considering how the game looks, I hope this will be the first great next-gen survival horror game. Condemned was great, and I think Bloodshot will be too, but this game is more true to the genre, as it seems.
Well spoken LJWooly, have a bubble.
Boll's movies are without any doubt what so ever some of the worst movies in the world, he is a modern Ed Wood. But the reason he keeps destroying game franchieses is simply money, because he actually does make a profit.
Boll makes movies through is german corporation Boll KG. Boll KG gathers private investors who also don't mind urinating on great game series, and they go ahead and make the pure trash that is Boll's trademark movies. People don't see these movies in theatres, ...
Sorry to have to tell you this FirstknighT, but you don't get to decide for everyone how the PS3 is supposed to be used. Is it a movie player first and a gaming system second, or vice versa? Since it is a machine that is built to be extremely competent in both areas, and the user simply decides how they want to use the hardware. I use mine for alot of movies, Blu-ray as well as DVD, but I play more than I watch movies, so for me it's a gaming console first and a movie player second.

And that would only happen if memory prices were reduced signifficantly. Here in Sweden, a Memory Stick Duo will set you back about $150, which is alot to pony up for something like this.
This feature however is really cool, and I have alot of movies I'd like to take with me when I travel, but if that is going to be a viable option memory prices need to drop.
I'm not saying they should give memory sticks away, but at least reduce the price, start some sort of cam...
Sometimes it's just news, neither good or bad. :)
If I remember correctly, there were some settings for the PS3 in an ini-file, or something of that nature.
I do however not believe that Bioshock will show up on the PS3, that is highly speculative, and until the developer/publisher says otherwise, I for one choose to believe that it won't.
Have played the game through on my Xbox 360 though, borrowed it from a friend, and I will be getting it for myself shortly. It's really a great game, slowed down towards the e...
There you go, stating all facts again. Since we know everything you say is factual, right? Pretty amazing, since nothing hasn't even been announced yet, I marvel at your insight.
They do enjoy company, as it seems.
OK, so after this "explosion", how many percent of all purchased media is bought digitally, over the Internet? 3%? More? I seriously don't know, but if you do, please tell me.
iTunes might very well be the SINGLE largest retailer on the planet, but that actually tells us absolutely nothing, since there are a great many retailers out there.
I would have guessed though that more than half the traffic was digital distribution of media, but is this legal di...
