I understand what you mean. Bioshock 2 didn't have the wonder and mystery that Bio1 did, but the gameplay and story (I love love love Rapture's political and philosophical nature) definitely made it one of my favourite games this year.
Baltis, Mythbusters says hello:

;)
I haven't played the first 2 (well, I played a demo of the first and liked it).
How's the online community for either game? Is the single player good enough to go through by myself?
I kinda feel bad for fanboys, mainly because I have a 360 and a PS3.
People are missing out on games that they're too blind to even give a chance.
K2's multiplayer was alright, but there's always room for improvement.
Those co-op mission things revealed not too long ago seem to be an indication :D
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
I'd throw Bioshock in there. The art direction in that game has not been surpassed in MY eyes.
Yeah, I'm still going to jump into SP first, but the main menu is such a tease :P
So much win.
So many game modes to choose from in Reach, it's gonna be hard to jump straight into campaign and not look at all the other stuff first.
No.
"Most developers for Sony . . . "
Ummm, I'm pretty certain the nearly every developer for everyone would play anything outside of their platform / publisher.
Well said.
I feel bad for a lot of the employees at Turn 10. Most of them probably just wanted to make a fun game, then a few idiots had to run their mouth.
Not every game is CoD.
Do you aim down the sights in CS? No, and it destroys CoD.
In other news, water is wet.
Female spartan.
The elites spawn up there. The spartans have to take over the spire. :)
If you want good Reach videos, check out HaloWaypoint's YouTube account. They've been uploading full games.
Bioshock is about what humanity can do when not held back. It's about the previously thought impossible becoming a reality.
A city in the sky definitely encapsulates this.
